Well thats good news for Shantae love from nintendo. They enjoy putting her front and center for a lot of their Nindie stuff

I'm pretty positive Geno will use the Mushroom icon, which represents every character from the Mario series.

That is most likely ya. My theory of 4 more unique newcomers with 4 echos, and us needed 3 more music icons on the music page works even with Rhythm Heaven Girl and Shantae with Geno being a mario icon, as one of those could be for a mincraft stage. However, there is word going around again for Elma, and if thats the case it may need Geno to have an icon himself.

What's funny is that the mock picture with the Mii costume pretty much confirms the Geno leak to be from Wii U (To me). You can easily see the glare on the water when said glare doesn't exist in the Ultimate Version of that stage.

This has been found, yes, but the model itself is consistent with Ultimate's lighting and shading, and even has noticeable polygons so it's not too high-poly. I think we've all hit a brick wall, and are hoping it's real, that perhaps it was an early version of the stage. The blur also removes the layer that makes up the horizon, and the white glare, so it may have done something similar to Ultimate and its gradient if it's not an early version with reused assets (but I admit this is reaching).

Due to the recent "real leak" rumor from Tansut, however, and him insinuating his source is from Square Enix, even if this leak is fake, we have reason to believe we'll be getting either Geno or Sora.

I decided to pick it up again as well. It's pretty fun, and is at least reasonably challenging.


What is with Pirates Curse and HGH having Naga's that make me want to scream? Stop with that unavoidable bubble nonsense!

Nagas in Pirate's Curse and Half-Genie Hero have a bubble attack? News to me. All I see them do in the former is move back and forth and occasionally jump to a platform, and the latter do have a slightly annoying machine gun energy blast, but it's pretty easy to take them out before they use it.

You sure you're not talking about mermaids, or original Nagas?

I can kinda get it, and I respect you wanting to stay on the thread's of who you support, but then why are you talking about the character at all then? If you really did not care, you would have never said anything in the first place, let alone try to reaffirm your statement even after saying how you did not care at all about the character.

If Zen Studios (virtual pinball makers) made a Shantae table, what would you want the table to play like? This includes Missions, cameos, etc.

In fact, what would you want to see from Shantae entering the pinball medium?

Even if it's fake, we still have reason to believe we may get either Geno or Sora due to recent rumors and Masked Man of ResetEra, who apparently worked for Square, saying "I know characters on it that aren't in Smash" or something about a fake leak that had Sora, Mallow, and Geno, and then disappearing with his accounts deleted.

Anybody heard of that Nintendo life tourney Sakurai himself tweeted about? I wonder if thatnmeans that we aren’t due for any news in October due to maybe saving the direct for that event. Also apparently some leak that may have not been debunked yet in the image department is the geolyte from meteos. I don’t believe it honestly, but it could potentially be our wtf character. I’m still gunning for next week on the 24th or 25th for any new smash news as that would be shantaes best chance. What do you guys think?

I guess it’d have to be, I’m just imagining hair that long getting caught in trees, under cracks, slammed on doors; she should be lucky most of the entryways in Scuttle Town don’t have doors, through she may not have such luck with her own house. (I’ve worked with a backpack vacuum with a massive cord that got caught on everything so I can attest to how obnoxious that would be)

The biggest leak that showed off the entire release character select for Smash 4 came from the ESRB, which only comes in after a game release version is finalized and sent for review.
