Okay so, to make these tournaments more fun and to add some more competitions between clans, I'm going to add a simle ladder point system to clan members entering the tournament. The formula is simple :
The inverse of the player's placement divided by the number of the clan members in the tournament, rounded

Well that was two matches so we can't really tell who's the best yet can we? Plus it was in hyrule, which is a definitely a good advantage for DK.

I played this fox online and he basically owned me in most of the matches, then i played as DK and grabbed ***** it up and 2 stocked him...i guess a change in play style can mess up even the technically skilled players

Neph I think you should keep using battle reports as the bracket for tourneys I'd say that worked out pretty well. An IRC room might also be nice though.

I think Neph should be made an admin so he can make matchup announcements. It would make things so much easier and clear up all the "Who am I supposed to play?"

I hope someday these can become double elimination tournaments. These are free so I'm grateful to have these in the first place but overall Smash functions so much better with double elimination.

I've been thinking about it, and I may use a program that would let me use more advanced features like double elimination and seeding, or even pools followed by round robin or whatever, and have the matchups told and reported on IRC. Sounds good?
