Hey I had a great time being there it was my first real tourny so I enjoyed being able to meet some of you guys and put faces to names which are on these boards. As for shoutouts…

Ray: I met you at the weekly thing at CCC but it was nice to see you and your brother at this tourny even though we did not get a chance to play. Hope to see you again at CCC.

<3: I am that random person who let you borrow my controller (don’t worry about forgetting my name). Had a great time playing friendlies with you. Have to respect a Pichu.

Stu: Played a lot of matches with you sorry if I was a bit noobish but I like to think I will improve. Thanks for the advice and hope too play you at another time.

Cort: I was amazed watching your matches with PC. Thanks for the effort you put into organizing this.

Purple Cobra: good matches shl sort of messed your luigi up a bit, furthermore battlefield is a bad stage for luigi but who knows how things would have went if you picked samus. TY for the matches.

Nasty Nate: You were really helpful and I did need practice in falco v shiek matches. Hope you are enjoying CT

Kip: Great fox. It was way to fast for me to handle and I feel satisfied being knocked out of the tourny by someone of yourr skill level.

PC: Just amazing. It was my pleasure to be sent to the losers bracket by your DK. Too bad you couldn’t keep him through the entire tourny. However, I feel like I learned a lot in the matches we played. You seem faster then most videos look I don’t know if it is being there or if u have gotten even faster in your game. Lastly, it was really cool of you to ask me if I would mind if you played your DK in the tourny against me. Defiantly one of the nicest people I met.

Yes there have been two. Both happened quite a while ago. We do need a crew battle, but we should resume discussion of this in the Mainehampshire Player Finder.

PC/Cort: I forgot how ridiculous it is to get completely ***** in 2v2. Maybe I'll step it up now.

This was a really good tourney, lots of setups, good people, and lots of chairs (unlike Evo ). DM did a great job, I was very impressed.

I learned a lot, played lots of good warmups with some big guy with a good Fox (Pat/Pro maybe?) and had fun tourney matches.

Stu: Good first round matches we had. That triple Ganon f-air hurt......Mute City was a good counterpick. Nice to play someone from CT.

2nd guy I played (had a fro, didn't get his name.....I'll see it in the brackets): Nice Fox, ridiculous grabs and waveland grabs. Very dumb of me to go Peach on FoD for the 3rd game (should've stayed Falco or Fox) but had a lot of fun playing you in warmups and in our set.

Mike: Had fun playing your Marth, ggs hope to play you again.

Kip: Very nice Fox........I'm actually bad with Falco on FD...... but it was fun, maybe I'll ban it next time. The whole banning thing was new to me so it was a good lesson. I should also maybe play some good human Foxes with Marth before using him in tourney :embarrass. Would've been fun to Fox ditto you on Yoshi's but I thought what the hell, let's try Marth.

Sol/Phish-it: Fun playing you guys in warmups for teams.........that DK was blowin' me mind.

Gabe/Hunter: Nice to finally meet/play you guys. Hunter your powershielding with Falcon was nuts. Gabe your Samus and Fox are quite good, try using more Fox next time. Hope to play you guys again sometime.

The highlights for me were watching PC's Kirby in teams and vs. Falco.......someone should've recorded that. Also loved Lord Knight vs. PC.......really good set. Lord Knight has a pretty near perfect textbook Marth. Saw a few matches of KrazyJones too.......insane Peach, very smart playing, that last game vs Cort was too close.....maybe I should work on my garbage Peach.

Good job everyone, hope there's another CT tourney soon.

cort - im sorry if you actually did seed the brackets, but they were pretty awful, too many people were playing in first or second round that knew each other, and too many good people were playing each other first or second round. i can't really see you having seeded that bracket tho, i don't remember you getting up between teams and singles to do it. at cata we usually spend an hour going through the bracket to make sure there are no crews together and that all the good people are separated. other than that though, you placed well and have a smexy peach : ) we'll be at the next one for sure

In regards to the bracket, I believe that the DM employees were waiting for cort to help seed the brackets but he never got around to doing it cause he was busy actually playing so the brackets were just randomized. That's how I think it happened at least.

@Rep, I've known the doc player for a while. I recently taught him about advanced tech and stuff. He's smart so he catches on really quick. We just need to work on our teamwork... Not bad for our first time teaming in tournament eh?
