Over the last week or so, good ol’ SamuraiPanda dug up some brief snippets from Sakurai that we didn’t really take too much note about, as they weren’t really too newsworthy by themselves. Or at least so we thought…

CoroCoro comics recently had an article in their May issue about Smash Bros Brawl, and with CoroCoro’s past history of revealing new Pokemon games and information, we were hoping we might see something new. Sadly, it was just a rehash of stuff we already knew (other than CoroCoro having a contest to draw your Ultimate Smash Bros Brawl character)

Now to the juicy stuff.
In the latest Snake vs Zombie radio show, Sakurai mentioned that he should release news soon. While most weren’t expecting anything (he said he should, not he would/wanted to) we certainly weren’t expecting <a href="http://smashbros.com"> an update to the Smash Dojo.</a>
In 7 days (8 for Japan and other areas in a similar timezone) “something” will happen. Wether it’s just a new site, a new site with info, new characters being announced, new stages, items, gameplay details…sorry, getting excited.
Basically, in 7-8 days, something is happening for Smash Bros Brawl. What it is exactly and how much of a deal it really is, is unknown, but it must be pretty big, and as soon as we know, you can garuntee we’ll keep you posted.
