Setting up 2v2 online?

How do you setup a 2v2 online? I thought you just have 2 people select one color and 2 other people select another color and voila, 2v2. I was playing online last night using faux finder and someone said I was not setting up 2v2 the right way. Doesn't each team just pick a color and then you select team attack on/off depending on how you want to play?

Just make sure to remind them who's on what team on FF before the match.
