Sakurai said other characters can't make it in before their leads, so you're left with Firion, Cecil, Bartz, Terra and Cloud, in conclusion Cloud is the best with Terra as a close second and she is not even the set lead of that game.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles SUCK! and it has to do with Cloud since he cannot represent the FF series in Brawl, we are left with some crappy generic characters like the Clavat and the Yukes who suck and Final Fantasy VI doesn't even have a set lead character to have a PC from that game.

Aside from the fact that I never mentioned FFCC, which by the way is also pretty good, Cloud isn´t the best representative of Final Fantasy in SSBB. He only appeared in one of the numbered games. And if they really wanted to use a representative from Final Fantasy VI, Terra is the obvious answer.

We already know that Cloud is sweet, it can't be done though. But who knows, the creater of MGS ask Nintendo if Snake could be in the game, but Snake was first in Nintendo. I just know that in the mind of people that Cloud and Sephiroth has a slim chance, but it could be suprising if I saw them in Smash.

Wow...a whole lot of ******** replies in this thread. First off...to say that Kefka, etc. would be better than Cloud/Sephiroth as a rep...is just ludicrous. FF7 is the FLAGSHIP of the Final Fantasy series, and in FF7, Cloud and Sephiroth are the favorite characters. Following Sakurai's rule, no Sephiroth. SO, IF FF was represented in Brawl, it WOULD BE CLOUD...so all of you who hate Cloud, just because, with no reason...your stupid. For the sake of another argument, ask a group of gamers (who aren't necessarily FF gamers...Brawl is nintendo) who Kefka is, and maybe 20% will know who he is. Then, ask the same group if they know who Cloud is, and I bet 95% or more, will know who he is.

NOW...I definitely don't think that FF will be in brawl, but if it was....Cloud, not anyone else.
