Okay so..my senior year is almost here. I'm already planning my trip with my best friend(who is at another school) we're planning on going to Japan, some area over there. I know it'll cost a lot >_< and of course we gotta learn some Kanji and the language. Now I want to know what your senior trip will be or was. :D I already searched for this topic. ^-^

We're going on a trip to Cancun for 5 days. Its non school sponsered but pretty much everyone I know is going. Our resort is all inclusive so everything is free. EVERYTHING. 18 is the drinking age so I'm going to be wasted for 5 days straight. Wake up in the morning and order a domestic beer I've never heard of.

Expensive though...

I went on a cruise. It was a really cheap one. We stopped in San Diego, Catalina Island, and Ensinada.

It was waaay fun, though. There were about 25 hand-picked seniors by the girl who organized the whole thing, and we had a great time.

The girl who organized it is already planning another cruise, for when we're all 21. :p

I'm planning to go to Japan for my Senior Trip. It's only four years until them for me........

I hope it's fun. I need to do some more research and learning on the language XD.

I went to Salou for 2 weeks, with my 3 best friends. It was awesome! Partying, laying on the beach, getting drunk. It was even my birthday(July 18th) the day after we arrived.

The only thing my friends got me was a ****ing chocolate croissant for my birthday, those **** *******s! xD

I'm a sophomore now and for my senior trip, I'm going to Japan with a friend, or maybe more. That kind of trip seems popular. Oh and im in 2nd year Japanese. Planning on taking all 4 yrs of high school and some college courses. (if they have any)

If you go next year, please try to be there on April 30th. That's the birthday of our Queen and whole Amsterdam is one big party. I swear to you, you will not regret it. Amsterdam will be filled with stages where bands and dj's play, and filled with people getting drunk and having fun. And probably will our national trance and dance pride, DJ Tiesto, be there too. Best ****ing holiday EVER!

Remember, 30th of April!

We're too poor to go anywhere, at least not by ourselves. We'd need to ask our parents for money, and they're not going to give us hundreds of dollars to go to a foreign country for a senior trip, which really is just drinking. I've been thinking about it, and if we could get the money I'd like to go to England, or possibly Canada, though I doubt we would. I still wish we could, we're all going to different colleges soon, so it'd be nice to have a last trip to remember each other by.

I think... we're going to outdoor education for our senior trip. It wouldn't be that bad considering I'll be with my friends, and that's all that matters. But still, some freedom together for our last days together would be cool.

Mexico is another possibility, but I'm not looking too forward to that.

I wouldn't mind doing an independant class trip seperated from the school so we could piss away all our parent's money and go to Hawaii. (school policy is that the students can only spend what they get at fundraisers -_-)

Common, when you're a senior you're not going to want to go to a place with a drinking age of 21.

Mexico is only "fun" if you go to one of the tourist places. And that is very expensive. Outside of that is poverty.

Does you school actually have a "senior trip"? I've never heard of a school having that. I know our marching band has annual trips. Maybe your school is a lot smaller then mine, but a full class trip doesn't seem like it would work.

My school doesn't have a senior trip (they're quite ******** and poor). Your senior trips can be between you and your group of friends that you hang out with. Yeah..I'm worried about the price of the trip..if it doesn't go right we might just go to Cancun. :D

That's pretty extreme to go to Japan, hope it works out for you. Me and my friends were planning to go to San Antonio and Dallas(for Six Flags of course) w/us living in South Texas, and even that fell through >.>

Good Luck on your trip

I've never heard of a school not doing a senior trip until reading this topic.

My class's senior trip was a bust, the reason being they couldn't figure out what to do for 250 kids that couldn't ever agree on anything. For we ended up n Seattle at some ****ty restaurant, had a dance floor set up inside said restaurant and then went to Game Works until 5 in the morning.

Maybe it's just because our class numbers are huge. My class has over 1,200 kids in it, and you can't really set up a trip for that many.

Uh, senior trip? This is different from senior prom, right? I didn't go to a particularly large school (class size around 310ish) but we didn't really have much of a "trip." My physics class went to Six Flags one day, and I guess going to the beach on Senior Cut Day counts for something, but besides that, I can't really think of a "senior trip" we took.

A swarm of my friends and band acquaintances (Groupies, fans, other bands, etc) all went to the beach local to my town. After a few hours and 10 vehicles later, we were able to get three rooms, each with 10 people per room (2 beds in one, 4 in the second, and 2 in the third, oh boy, the fun we had.). We stayed for a week and a half and it was a fantastic time.

I suggest that you do something like this. More people, the better, but only with ones that you trust.

Just find a place that you know you have many different things to do, and just go there, unpack and walk out side. The more simple, the less annoyed you'll be, and it allows you to meet cool people and do anything because you have nothing planned.

I'm a junior this year, but next year I plan to just make a road trip with a bunch of friends who graduate at the same time. They go to different schools, but it is still a senior trip. We all went to the same middle school and elementary school (which were both private), and we still go to the same youth group.

I go to a small, very small, Christian school so I dont think the age limit for when we can drink is going to be an issue. It'll just be banned completely, not that I drink anyway.

And that's what I was thinking when our Senior Trip Committee mentioned the possibility of Mexico.

Our senior grade is made of only one class with less than thirty people, and we get a week off for the trip. Like Cashed, I never knew schools didn't have senior trips until I came into this topic. -_-

My Senior Trip was awesome. It was only a weekend, which sucked, but it was still cool. We went to the Twin Cities in Minnesota, went to The MoA, various locales in the cities, and...other stuffs.

I could explain more, but don't want to. All I can say is it was awesome!
