@Shimazu: Nah the game's nowhere near this expensive. I just have maximum-rarity stuff which increases the value by an obscene margin.

^ Well, I'm a very cheap person when it comes to stuff, and yeah Pokemon is very cheap compared to the other tcgs. It's still kinda costy though.

nah ygos pretty comparable. actually i can put together a competitive ygo deck for far less than a competitive pokemon list, AND ygo has better organized play.

Yeah, when I was researching TCG, Yugioh was pretty nice. I just don't like the metagame. Pokemon is a lil' costy I guess, but the metagame is nice. Dunno about Magic; too expensive.

I'm sticking to gaming. I love getting 100% (or trying) and reviewing(my blog down thur) <3 I also want to get SSF4/Blazblue, but thats off topic.

mmhmm its a very cheap TCG indeed, my decks (tier one/two) cost me about a months and a 1/2 worth of saving up spare change

If you play Legacy, MTG is probably the least expensive game.

If you play anything else, you're looking at the largest money-sink in all of TCG.

Also what is it about ygo that you dislike? Ygo has a larger pool of competitive players, and one of the slowest, best formats in 4 years, and, of course, better organized play. Pokemon really is a joke when it comes to tournament and prize structure.
