hey sonic boards. I wanted to ask what you guys think would make a good secondary to sonic other than top tier characters. Don't tell me to figure it out myself because im asking for YOUR opinions.

Depends... are you willing to learn how to play as Sonic? He's not pick up and play like the majority of the other characters. However, playing (and winning) as Sonic could possibly make you a better play overall.

Try him, read the stickies for more info, and see what you think.

Oh yeah, my opinion: I honestly don't see Sonic as a good secondary unless you're truly willing to learn how to play as Sonic or your main is Samus, Yoshi, Ganondorf, Falcon, or Link. There are probably two or three more characters that fall under this catergory, but you get the idea.

I found wario to be kinda fun as an alt, very awkward like sonic.

I find that alot of Sonic mains tend to drift to Falcon.

Idk, I drifted to Lucario as a secondary and Falco as a tertiary... but both are high tierish. =/

Not that dumb. Matchups. If someone counterpicks hard against your main, either with their character or the stage, it can be nice to have a secondary with different weaknesses.

Yes, but the way the TC made it sound and some of the responses make it sound like he's just trying to find a secondary, not a counter-counterpick.

Oh, a good counter-counterpick would be like DK for Metaknight or Metaknight for just about everyone. =O
