Secondaries??

Im just curious...
What do you guys use as secondaries?

My secondaries suck and i need some suggestions

My first choice as a secondary is sonic...
What do you guys think??

No, it's actually really bad advice. Pick MK or someone you can beat marth with. Seriously.

MK. He's easy to pick up and owns. + he's fun. G&W is cool too.

Pikachu is awesome. I use him for snake...

Otherwise I just use Lucas for everyone but G&W and good marths. MK...

DDD does well against Marth and DK, Wario goes even against GAW and does good against GAW

I recomend DDD and Wario.

Don't pick up MK, he'll just get banned.

They work well for me.

MK is a great idea. He counters both Marth and G&W. I also use pikachu but he is not the best choice for secondary by any means.

Waste of time? Picking up MK is easier than picking up any other character. All you need to know are the G&W and Marth matchups. MK is by far the most efficient time-wise of any possible secondary. If he gets banned. Whatever, again, not much lost time.

G&W. I'd take a Marth over him any day. DK is really tough too, maybe tougher than Marth.

More important is that there are a lot of G&Ws. A lot. Legion.

At the tournament that i went to I probbably saw like 5 GaW's, maybe more, luckily i didn't face any (but i did get to play a Lucas ditto in the tourney )

Do I have a real secondary? I don't think so. I can fake it with Game & Watch and R.O.B. though. Dedede, Ness, Olimar, and Lucario are on my list of characters to get better with, in no particular order.

Actually, Lucas is one of my secondaries...one of the best ones, to say the least, so technically I don't know what would be a good secondary for you (some people has listed a few good ones after seeing past posts). Anyway yeah I use Lucas better than Ness...

Anyway on a side note, I've been looking at a few characters to use for counterpicks if MK is banned.

Snake for Marth and G&W
Jiggs for DK (whatever Jiggs is fun as h*** and probably my favorite character after Lucas)

Yes. Almost completely right. Vindication!

Don't bother with Snake, its easier to pick up MK and he handles every matchup that's bad for Lucas (well, he handles every matchup in general ).
