Secondaries for Bowser

I like Falco Vs D3 ..

This is probably my hardest matchup as ddd.

He cannot be chaingrabbed which takes away the main way to deal damage. He can chaingrab us until fifity ish.

He can out camp ddd with laser and that spike he has is stupid good.

Anyway, I agree with mreh about why people use him. Bowser just does decent against mk, and thats what people need, a decent matchup against the top char.

You can essentially pair Bowser with any character at the top of the tier list and you're bound to do well. Bowser has few good matchups, but he does happen to do well against MK, which is why people are using him I guess.

Im sorry you think Im an idiot Lord Bowser... but I'm not. I didnt say you SHOULD use bowser only for that reason or at all... I was just restating the fact that some people are using bowser as a means to fight mk now.

Bowser really should not be much higher than where he is, he def. shouldnt be in c tier that is just not true, as he cant be beaten by projectiles by everyone in d tier, minus zero suit who has longer reach. why would you say he deserves c tier?

Are you kidding me? I said Bowser does not deserve to be in c tier above characters like peach and wolf (who are better). I stop playing bowser for like three months, and then come back and get flammed? So far the ONLY thing people have done since I posted back on the bowser boards is spend their time flamming me instead of giving me evidence as to why my claims are wrong. Slander me all you want, its okay, but when you dont disprove me then it doesn't hold much weight.

I know bowser can be good, but he has so many bad matchups, its always uphill for him. He certainly isn't on par with peach, pit, and wolf, and I read that someone said he should be higher than them (actually, I think it was you). So please, flame away... It makes not difference to me as long as people actually know as much as much as they let on. Im not hard to get along with, cant we do a little better than name calling and actually have a discussion?

If people wanted a MK counter, they'd pick up Snake. A character who ranks higher and does better. Plus, in your quote there is no time where Mreh states that bowser is used by some people just for the fact that he does decent against MK.

I take back my words on calling you an idiot. Your actually a pretty knowledgeable on bowser but I still think that statement you made is only I minor thing that presses people into maining bowser.

I think bowser deserves to go above Zelda and maybe Luigi but the tourney results of Christmas really ruined it. Other then that I think bowser deserves (If his tourney ranks do slightly better then now) a possible rank higher (probably bottom of d)

I also was speaking of people using bowser as a secondary (which is was what the thread is about), nothing about maining him, and if I did, then I am very sorry and apologize for the error. I dont want an arguement, just wanted to show you I was not pulling things out of thin air. Also, to whoever thinks that I'm here slamming the name of bowser,I'm not I swear! Sure give bowser a spot above zelda, however I think he shouldn't be higher than luigi, but take that if you want. I used to really spend time here, and I like bowser. I just saw that someone said he should be in c tier which to me seems unrealistic at this present time (if ever).

I dont want to say that the only reason someone uses a character is because "x" reason either. However, when people who have not played bowser previously bust out bowser against mk... then they are probably using him as a counter. Just like a fox needs to have a back up against pikachu, some people will look to bowser for mk. Snake is also a fine pick against mk, a better pick if that will stave an arguement, but if I had to choose, then I'm going with Bowser, because I'm comfortable with him, and a mk will more likely not know this matchup than the snake matchup.

I dabble... lol. I used luigi before I got really serious with peach, and just started playing him again recently, because honestly, in my area I don't have much of a hope to play competitive brawl like I would like. I found some people at my campus who have and I play with them, and maybe I'll go to a tourney if I can ever find one, but I wouldn't know how to go about finding one, and im so f*ing rubbish from not having a wii to play whenever I want anymore... (info would be nice i guess *hint, hint*) lucario is something I recently found out I liked alot. i dont think I could get more comfortable with another char like I used to be with peach, but since I gave up on trying to find tourneys I've just been playing whoever (mostly luigi and lucario). I see you have remained faithful to bowser.

And to morphed Chaos. YES HE DOES! D3 cant really do much to falcos who play smart.

Well, today I played some 1 v 1, had my *** handed to me across the span of several characters, even dittoing with Bowser at one point. The only time I was anywhere near beating him was when I played Jiggs against his DDD. And when I thought about it, it made sense, though I'm on my Wii's internet channal so I wont go into detail. This on screen keyboard sucks, lol. Something interesting that happened though; at one point I was grabbed at the edge of stage on the ground and I swear I auto grabbed the ledge to break the grapple. O_o

But yeah, I'd say Jiggs is a nice anti DDD.

Use Sonic least he would be another low tier character and hes the fastest character in the game. Or you can have another heavy character as part of your main like Ike. Ike fights for his friends and with his friends as well.
