Maan and I played BlazBlue, but we stopped after CS.

I got a little post card thing of Ultra Arcade at the Smash 4 demo, when I asked about Smash I was told that they would have it. I haven't actually gone to it, but when I looked on the website all I saw wasSF, MvC, and stuff. But no Smash. And the events aren't updated yet either. And it's kinda far to make trips to it often.

I'll give other fighters a try when I finally get good at Smash on a competitive level, which at this rate is going to take a few hundred years.

I was about to check out Chrono Phantasma at work but I won't be home most of the weekend so I let Karl and Sara play Diablo instead.

I love my blazblue. I don't know if they have any events for smash, they have a cube with Melee hooked up to a CRT, and some Wiis so they presumably have Brawl too, but I never really asked.

Ultra isn't smash friendly atm because it's pretty much dead. Melee is the only relevant one and the local community for it is kinda meh.

Smash 4 should change that. Ultra is big with the bigger fighters.

Lol nothing I'm just fiddling around with gas canisters, seeing if there's going to be a towering inferno between us when the fighter reveal happens.

Use specials and press buttons in LMH sequence is all I do in traditional fighters.

When/where do you guys meet up? I work second shift and get off at 10PM so my schedule is not very conducive to the whole getting out thing unless it's late nights :/

Check the Schedule but to be honest I do not recall blazblue being at SJ in the past 5 years. Hell I've seen tournaments for Gears and CoD first before stuff like GG or BB.

I don't even play blazblue and I was at the edge of my seat since Losers Semis. Too bad Tao and Turbo ***** Squirrel are bad but I dunn care I'll still enjoy toying with them from one of the rare times SA plays the game.

Jwong is pretty much the Dyrus of the FGC.

And eh, Tao is uppermid/mid tier.

Makoto is **** tier though. I still use her as a counterpick to things like Terumi though. I can not wrap my head around the Nu v Terumi matchup, I just get bodied.

I should probably just get better at Litchi or Plat as my alt though...

Maybe if like, somebody brought a blazblue or something to a smashfest either I or nike host in the future I'll bother with the game lol. Since last time I remember any of us in SA playing it was when we all played twisted metal skullgirls PSA and I think BB CT last year in the span of 2 or 3 months.

That tierlist is all wrong Slush. Tager's actually the greatest in the game, followed by Makoto, Noel, Taokaka, Valken's facial hair, new Riven, and Tsubaki.

Statistically speaking, if you play anyone else you like Shota porn.

Taokaka's meat buns is actually in SSS Tier.

tier list isn't even super important in blazblue, and Tao has never been bad in like any version ever and over half the time is one of the best characters. I didn't look at her changes after the patch so dunno if she really is that low after being like 6th or 7th before. Makoto is **** in everything except cs2 tho.



Edit: I liked this tier list more since it's pretty accurate

S: Azrael, Kokonoe, Litchi
A: Everyone else
B: Makoto

Kokonoe is still hands down the best character. I think it's something like

S Tier: Kokonoe
A Tier: Litchi, Azreal, Carl, Rachel
B Tier: Pretty much everyone else
C Tier: Izayoi, Tager, Makoto

But whatever, it doesn't really matter unless you're playing something like Makoto v Litchi. If I come to play I could bring my PS3 with BB on it and a couple sticks, it doesn't bother me to bring some extra crap.
