Yeah, but they have to be holding shield just a little bit extra, or you need bomb and Dsmash to be fresh. Any 41 damage shield break isn't gonna be super reliable. It's a good catch though, and I didn't have it mentioned before in this thread.
What if dsmash was charged?

So I went to the lab, and both hits of bomb + both hits of a charged dsmash will break a shield. The hits all line up nicely, as well. You should keep this in mind.

Anyway to ensure you get both hits of D smash on their shield?

Actually, yes! If you stand in front of your opponent, facing away from them and they are in shield, both hits of dsmash will hit their shield. The front hit will hit first for some reason, as the hitbox seems unusually bigger than the back hit. The cool thing is, charged dsmash isn't that strong on one hit, but you're getting a boost to both hits from the charge.

The rear hitbox is bigger than the front hitbox. It's because the front hitbox will push them away from you if you are facing them, making it hard for the back hit to reach.

Wow, he gets a shield break off two fairs, somehow, I didn't know this.
The back part of his fair does more shield damage because it's usually used as a cross up in street fighter to get through defenses. Similar to how his Heavy ftilt also does insane shield damage.
