what, are you kidding? you'd rather take "confirmation" from a player made video over the dojo?Wow, the game is still full of surprises, and the Dojo still has secrets to tell. Hopefully someone can confirm this in a video.
Vid of midgame transformation stolen from another thread:

I think what he's asking is "How hard is this to do? Does anyone have any experience performing this at rest or in a pinch?"what, are you kidding? you'd rather take "confirmation" from a player made video over the dojo?
And who doesn't love that? I mean seriously! I had a similar idea for Samus transforming into Zamus by means of a taunt. This is close enough, and a very nice and welcome addition. I'd like to know if it works both ways, though. It'd be great if it did.Just when you think its over Sakurai Telports behind you and Suplex you with more info XD
Did you try starting off the match as ZSS and then doing the taunt?I have tried it now, and what can I say... It's kinda easy to pull of the transformation with the wii+nunchuck, and so I can convert at any desired time. Anyway, as i tried to use the same combination with the same button-hammering technique, it just won't work. Either it does not work the other way around, or ZSS->Samus requires even speedier fingers to pull of.. Which I highly doubt.

yes, but its harderCan you do this with the Wii-mote...?
try like down up down or left right left.I have tried it now, and what can I say... It's kinda easy to pull of the transformation with the wii+nunchuck, and so I can convert at any desired time. And according to what we know about her abilities so far, she'll be quite up there.Ah so there will be ZS Samus in competitve play!
Its in comparison to Samus, because she is heavier, so she lasts longer. Zamus is light, so she'd die faster.I wonder why Sakurai always says she isn't a stout fighter? Is it because he just says it, or because she is intentionally a hani-capped character?
People doubted you could change into Zamus without the Smash Ball, but look what happened.I doubt you can repair your armour without a smash ball.
This brings up alot of new strategies for samus, with no item battles she was stuck the way she was. But now she will have the choice to transform.
but people will still play both because samus has one talent no-one beats her at...ranged fighting...Its in comparison to Samus, because she is heavier, so she lasts longer. Zamus is light, so she'd die faster.
Probably also refers to their strength, since Zamus is fast with weak hits, and Samus is slower with stronger hits. But we all know that lots of weak hits can add up more than a few strong hits.
With all the nerfs I've been hearing about for Samus, I think Zamus will end up being the higher tier character, and we'll have the Sheik/Zelda thing all over again, where the transformation outshines the real character.
...Maybe.
Yeah, can someone with the game try inputting the opposite combos as ZSS?try like down up down or left right left.
