Welcome to my world, where I randomly lose to people that are predictable as hell, roll constantly, and spam moves. WFC is fail.

Nah, in my experience, it's only Sonic who's crappy on WFC because a lot of his game is based on reaction, which will never be fast enough (and his Dsmash sucks for punishing). Rolls are good grab opportunities for Sonic. Not on WFC.

Anything with a quick, high priority, long duration Dsmash can pretty much own them, but I don't feel like playing Pikachu all day.

if youre no good in wifi, just play as snake. if you know what the enemy is going to do, or are playing with your eyes closed it doesnt matter, uptilt makes all the bad people go away

Sounds like Brawl in genenral. After playing Melee for a while, it pains me going back again.

Actually, most characters with out of shield options (Not really Sonic) have a better time on WFC too, looking at that fortress.

Well its not just the outof shield options its simply because that lag input really screws up your timing.
I repeatedly jump too late out of my spindash and often get punished =(
