So, I went this week and lost both my sets, but I thought I did pretty well. Where are the recorded matches going?

Got a new elgato and hopefully now streams and recordings will be better from here on out. As far as streaming goes, only have like 0.8mbps upload at Xanadu so it may not get too much better but hopefully the youtube recordings will be. Heres last nights results

Updated OP with results. I'm so far behind on uploading videos. Anyone have any good ideas on chopping up videos and uploading them to youtube other than going into windows movie maker, splicing the video, deleting the rest, saving, undoing, splicing the next video, deleting the rest, saving, undoing, so on and so forth? The windows movie maker tool is such a piece of **** too. How the hell does everyone else do this?

just choose the section that you want to render as one video and there should be an option to do that in the software that youre using. if movie maker doesnt have it, download something else.

literally just highlight, render section as mp4 or whatever format youre using and keep all the rendered files in a single folder to upload to youtube as a batch.

edit: imo sony vegas is really easy to use even if you dont know anything about video editing

lmao

once you have the entire video file for the stream, create a new folder somewhere. then, in the software, instead of having to find the part of the video (the set) that you want and delete everything else, you can just highlight that set that you want to upload, go to file or options or whatever, and render that section by itself as a video (when you click on render, it should ask you if you want to render the highlighted section only) and put it inside that new folder you created. when thats done, just go on to the next set, highlight it, render the highlighted section only, etc.

that way you dont have to just choose the part that you want, delete the rest, and start over to find a new set.

edit: and im pretty sure that youtube has an option to set up an upload queue for multiple videos, so once you have the folder filled with the sets that you recorded, just drag all the files to youtube's upload manager and thats it

Either windows movie maker doesn't have this feature or I'm an idiot and can't figure out how to get it to do that.

Yeah I figured that out a long time ago.

windows movie maker is pretty much the definition of barebones video editing. just google some other software and download that

I'm thinking about getting 64 on virtual console with my last CN coins so people who use GC Controllers (such as myself) have a setup to play on.

Thats not a bad idea but there are better alternatives. The VC is great for learning the basics and getting comfortable with mechanics and matchups and moves, but at the higher levels of play the VC won't be helpful because of frame skipping. Best bet is to download emulator and play on your computer. There are cheap GC to USB adapters that allow you to play on your computer using a GC controller. Emulator also allows you to go online and play other people which I don't think is possible on VC. VC isn't bad but its not the best either.

Okay now I'm thinking about getting this: http://www.raphnet-tech.com/products/gc_to_n64_adapter/ I dont own a N64 (I donated it to Xanadu) but since I use a GC controller and there's only one adapter, I'm considering getting it so 2 people who use GC controllers can play at the same time. I'm not sure if I should though since I don't have much money and I need to get a new PC adapter so I can play netplay.

I'd stick with the pc adapter. You'll get more out of it and since there aren't too many gc users alternating on the one adapter isn't a problem.

This week will be $1 night so anyone who is ranked in the top 10 will have to use a low tier character (luigi, samus, dk, link, ness).

So if you were thinking about coming to Xanadu now might be your only chance to kick our asses.

Just so you know we don't finish up until like 1130pm. As long as Mr. and Mrs. THE_MAAFIA are ok with you getting home at like 1am.
1 am? That's fine by me lol, I don't even do school work anymore since schools almost over, trying to get my older bro or sis to take me

How much is it for registration? What time do I have to be there by? If a chaperon comes do they have to pay money?
Edit: Do I pay at the door or online

This:

Pay at the door, $1 entry fee this week, $5 venue
No we won't charge the chaperon. Bracket starts at 830 but most of us get there before, I get there around 6 and we all play friendlies until bracket starts. Also see if @breakthrough or any other PA guys want to come down if there is definitely going to be a ride.
