my pointers:

first off, do you know how to short-hop? That by itself would help your game out a lot

don't ground pound so much on the stage, it leaves you open. You were very predictable with that.

your approach back to the stage (the double bair) was very predictable, and I'm sure your opponent capitalized on that. mix things up a bit!

Grab more! Especially against metaknight, that's key against him. (chaaaiiingraaab)

You got punished for shielding a lot, particularly when you took it down. Work on limiting it, and when you do use it, make sure you're taking it down at an opportune time. (rather than, say, in the middle of kirby's dair)

The egg roll is a good attack, but only when it's at full speed. Don't use it so much when you're in the air, particularly when you've got a ways to drop.

Anyone who knows my critiques saw this coming: practice with eggs! =D

Overall your attack approach was predictable. If you work the stuff above into your playstyle, I'm sure you'll be able to fix this, no problem. =)

Just another day.
No ETS, ECE, or pivot grabs......He needs to learn those cause they're really helpful to yoshi's game.

Too many DownBs throughout the game (or used at the wrong time). The move can pickup the opponent and set them up for the full hit. It's a good killing move too.

Way too many Dairs from the air. I know it's good (30-40 dmg if all hit), but it's not that good. Many characters can go straight through it. Plus, if you land too early, you get all that lag and you leave yourself open.

Other than that, he did good. Glad to have seen those vids.

EDIT: yoshinator beat me too it =P his stuff added with mine.

Going back to the dairs for a second. A short-hopped, running dair is safe. You won't get every hit on them, but with the forward momentum you'll land far enough away where you don't have to worry about getting punished. I make very good use of this, myself. So yeah, dairs can work, just not the way you're doing them. Short hops are your friend =)

I won't bother reiterating what the previous posters have already stated, but I will say that he did do a couple of things that pleasantly surprised me.

He's pretty clever with his recoveries, in particular. Playing it safe and leading the way with eggs is something every Yoshi should consider when coming back from offstage against aggressive opponents.

ok, i can say a few things the others didnt

1. nair is your friend!! use it more. it has a long time out, little landing lag, and had some power to boot

2. grab more has been said, but try to mix up what grab attacks you use, throw in an up throw or f throw every now and then

3.just learn when to use smashes and when to charge them. dont just charge a smash hoping they will walk into it

Yes yes, short hop would help. Other than that I'd say good job, besides the fact of always losing, but hey there are only 3 vids so that's understandable. The quote at the end of the MK vid is timeless.
