It’s not official, but it’s one small step towards an announcement. Still i want to get surprised...the japanese will post all the unlockable stuff and it will be hard to stay away from reading it...
I'm going to be looking for those pages when I get the game just like I did with the previous Smash games.

What do you think would happen if Brawl's not online, though?
A lot of people will be dissapointed, of course...Oh, and a parade of "HA! Told you!", "OMG I NO BUYIN SSBB CUZ NO ONLINE WAH WAAAAH~~!", and angry threads towards IGN and other websites who basically said Brawl would have online.

But the thing is... this is THE game for Wii. Sure, Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid's coming out... but, we all know the game EVERYONE's getting for Wii. Brawl. And if they don't have online, that's pretty darn disappointing.

It'll be dissappointing indeed if online isn't in it. They'll get criticized by the gaming news businesses and a lot of gamers as well.

yeah for sure it will be a big hit in the head to gamers everywhere if theres no online but i dont thhink it will stop most people from buying the game anyway, melee didnt have it and its still beein played to this day but it would be a definite boost for the game to have online

Screw the gaming news business. Who takes anything they say seriously anyway? Yeah, dozens of you probably want to come at me with a million exceptions to where they say good things, but generally, I hate the gaming panelists. They don't know what "hardcore" means, they post every rumor ever spread (even if it was completely made up as a joke), and they don't represent what we, the actual gamers, think.

If Brawl has online play, great! If Brawl has no online play, great! It'll be one of the best games in the world.

Where that boomerang came from
It doesn't change the fact that Nintendo is falling behind technologically. The Wii might as well have been a snazzy controller adaptation for the gamecube, and their netcode is looking no better. Friend codes? Seriously, Nintendo: What the ****? It's 2007.

If it comes out in Japan early, then I get it 2 weeks before everyone on this site. Does that make me cool?

I'll admit that Brawl'll be a great game without it, but it would be better if they had a good online system with Brawl. That's how I see it.
