In all seriousness, I don't think we will get another tag-team character. Sakurai already cited that he was having problems with Ice Climbers, I don't think his team is going to jump at the opportunity.

I will probably shot myself if even I see something from Activision or EA make it to Smash (no seriously).

Yeah he is having problems with Ice Climbers but maybe once the development team works it out Sakurai will think again about this idea and I´m not saying it should be with Chocobo + Moogle, I think the idea will work great with Donbe and Hikari or the Marvelous team (Dion, Max and Jack).

Atlus's one chance to get a playable character was if Nintendo had scooped them up. Now that they haven't... well we likely will never get an Atlus rep. At least they're owned by Sega and not like Sony or something.

Not mega man, not Sonic, Angry Birds. So maybe Miyamoto can have some influence on Sakurai and Rovio will get a rep.

Darth Vader actually has something Smash desperately could use personality-wise: A true villain.

Seriously, Ganondorf alone doesn't cut it. King Dedede isn't menacing, Wolf isn't too menacing either, and heck, even the ill-intending K. Rool is rather cartoony.


The only other prominent Nintendo villain that is like that is Ridley, but NAH!!! HE'S TOO BIG!!! HE DOESN'T USE MAGIX SO IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE TO BE THAT BIG!!! IT LIKE GOKU OR NURUTOBOOTO IN SMASH!!!! WE HATE UNIQUE THINGS!!! GIVE US DAISYY!!!! WE WUNT BABY PEACH!!!!

You sir deserve 1,000 likes, they have amazing studios and really great series under their belt but each time one of those Titans buy a Independent studio first they milk them up until there is nothing left, then expel the creative mind behind the studio and finally forget about the series and lock it down in the basement, seriously they don´t respect anything and thats what makes me rage the most.

You are correct. Darth Vader is most certainly one of the most iconic villains. A sick, twisted, yet sophisticated gentlemen. Having Darth Vader alone would put enough evil in the roster. They could cut the rest of the villains for all I care. Darth Vader would succumb the entire roster to the dark side of the force. Ridley would be fine too I guess. If that happened, I would at least want a Darth Vader costume for Jigglypuff.

You never know. Pichu is also quite easy to develop. I mean, he is probably one of the harder clones (because he has a different sized model and a battle mechanic). However, a clone is always pretty easy to just throw in there. Plusle and Minun being planned alludes to the notion that Sora Ltd. actually wanted to continue the trend of a smaller Pikachu. They just didn't have time. So perhaps Pichu still does have a chance that no one is giving him credit for. I main all of the Pokemon. However, I never really played as Pikachu. That was my sisters main. So instead, I used Pichu. This is probably one of the more predominant reasons that I want his return as well.
