How about we talk about our favourite female characters in gaming? This seems like a new topic we haven't explored before to my knowledge. With more females being added to the roster, it seems like a good conversation topic.

I remember playing Street Fighter 2 on my SNES when I was a kid. Everyone I played against always picked Ryu or Ken. My favorite was Chun-Li. While they were laughing because I picked a girl, I was busy beating them down. So awesome!

Now I suggested that though, I'm actually stumped for myself. Nearly every character I like is male, and I didn't even realise.

Despite being a massive Toad supporter I can assure you my favourite female character isn't Toadette. Hell, she's not even my favourite female FUNGUS character; that goes to Goombella.

In Shelter you take on the role of a mother badger protecting her cubs. Badgers are my favourite animals. Watching over these cubs as we traversed the wilderness hunting food and struggling to keep them from dying to predators was some of the saddest moments I'd experienced as a PC gamer.

If we're talking about Nintendo for lack of a better idea, I'll stick with Goombella for the time being.

DISREGARD, It's Sabrina from Pokemon. I did a whole webcomic about her ffs, yet still forgot her existence. Good game me.

Dude, I'm all for jokes and kidding, but not when it comes to my favorite character. No, it's not because she can lick her own crotch, it's because she has a great personality, very vibrant and full of life, a roll model to following your dreams even though they seem so distant, and SO much more. If you believe you can do it, you'll find your way, which is a life I tried to follow. She did what she needed to become a singer, regardless of whether the world would support it or not thanks to species prejudice, and I follow my dreams to be an artist/video game designer, regardless of the horrible childhood I had and people always telling me I can't make it. Stop looking at things from a face value, of course she's beautiful, but there's much more to her than that. She fought hard for what she believed in, as do I. So please, would you kindly never joke about that to me ever again?

There's no real harm done, it's just I get very defensive and touchy on such a sensitive subject as it's usually perceived wrong by others. And I'm not surprised, she's from a usually Japanese-oriented game that has little to no known source material in America aside from a God-Awful UDON comic series and a bunch of horny fangirls trying to pair her up with some emo Werewolf, which makes me want to puke out my lunch.

To be honest, I thought around the same before I actually watched the show, but then I found out there was much more to it than that. And in the end, I'm still going to put what I want as my avatar, for as long as it follows the guidelines of the thread, I could care less what others think of it.

Sorry, it's just it bugs me to hear/read people say "could care less" just because it's what they've been conditioned to say, when if they had thought for even a second about what they were saying they would've realized they should've said "couldn't care less." Same thing for people who actually say/write "should of/could of/would of." (seriously, when my L.A. teachers in High School told us not to say "should of", I thought they were being overly cautious. I had no idea there were people who actually did that)

Peronally I have more problems with the "Star Fox gets 4 characters" thing than anything involving furries(whatever gets your juices flowing, man, I'm in no position to judge). It's not that big of a deal that it ruins a roster, it's just not something I'd do. Lip is largely the same, though I'd personally add Takamaru or Mach Rider over her. Scratch that, didn't notice Takamaru. Also, no Little Mac? What?

It's funny when people claim their main reason for liking a character has nothing to do with their body, despite having said character in sexy poses and clothing in their avatars and sigs.

Not singling anyone out or anything. There's nothing wrong with finding a fictional character sexy, but I can understand Hotfeet's defensive remarks in a way, since there are people who will claim "objectification" at anything remotely sexy.

It has more to do with the notion that Star Fox is a dead series. If the franchise was still thriving, Krystal might even be considered on of the more likely candidates.

Well he isn't a retro, he kind of got a game on the Wii. Ice Climbers are retro, they had a single game on the NES and were never heard from again until Melee.

Impa appears in 4 games and Vaati appears in 4 games. 3 of which he is the main villian. Hell, I'd argue he's the main villian in adventures too considering he does all the work. Ganon is just the last boss.

Vaati was the main villain in two Zelda games made by Capcom that didn't sell well. And was the puppet villain of the worst selling Zelda game of all time mad by Nintendo. Probably why he was too insignificant to make an appearance in Brawl. Heck, some people believe they've spotted Impa in the Hyrule Warrioirs trailer. She was even in the CD-i games. Our favorite LoZ lesbian sure gets around. But why I don't think she'll be added is, how could they make her distinguishable from Sheik? If somebody has a moveset, I'd love to see it. She has the importance, but I'm not sure importance is an important factor in choosing characters this time around. And we all know the character selection is important in making a successful SSB. Important, important, important.

Well, the context is there, and since it is, there is nothing inappropriate about it. Besides...

The fact that this guy exists makes the "Inappropriate" and "Sexist" comments on Ryuko null, because when you ask me about fan service in Kill La Kill, this guy really is king. EVERY scene, this guy is king.

The cutting of Pokemon Trainer isn't a problem, since you re-added the orange piece of Pegasus Dung, it's Hades and Bandanna Dee over Shulk. And no Ridley.
