I think it's quite unrealistic to think there won't be any cuts. I mean we've already heard from Sakurai about how difficult it is "to the brink of death".

I don't think he would be so stressed out and worried about upsetting fans if he knew he could keep all our favourites in the game.

Let's make Master & Crazy hands as characters while we're at it.

A good part of Hades' charm comes from his dialogue. Since playable characters are always silent, him being a boss is better.

That is obviously subjective. I think some characters fit that role better. Hades would be fine as a playable character just like Ridley would be. That is like saying part of Ridley's charm is being big and scary so him being a boss is better. It is all a matter of perspective. No doubt, Hades would make a great boss. He would also make a great playable character. Just like.... RIDLEY. Tada!

There are other good KI bosses to choose from for boss battle.
I think Twinbellows would make a great boss.

I'm pretty sure at this point that he hits the like button on anything that isn't a negative comment. Maybe sometimes even then. I like to think my likes are hard to get. Like you gotta earn them, that seeing the "God Robert's Cousin likes this." means you said something pretty damn cool or hilarious. You get to see it on your post and know it's a badge that isn't handed out often, and that makes you one cool ************.

Anyway.

I second Twinbellows as a boss. Giant fiery dog-beast with recognizability sounds like a lot of fun to fight.

Yeah when you think of Twinbellows as the boss, you really have a good thought for Hades to be a character in Smash.

Not necessarily. I mean, here we had Petey as a boss but no Bowser Jr. (who debuted in the same game in the same alignment). Same with Rayquaza with no Gen. III character. I think bosses don't really have an effect on which characters are selected. Bosses can be anything from anywhere imo, as long as they're fun to fight.

Twinbellows is the easiest way to go with the whole generic giant dragon boss thing. I dislike it for that reason alone, immensely.

Personally, I'd prefer Pandora for the veteran status and cool potential. Also hilariously counts as female representation.

The problem with Hades is that I don't think we will get 3 KI characters and the 2nd character will most likely be Palutena.

He would just be a boss from Kid Icarus.
And I don't think we are getting the same bosses from Brawl anyway... maybe.

If any boss would replace Ridley I'd say it would be another Metroid Boss. Like Kraid or something.

I don't think my post was interpreted right. I was saying I'm not a fan of generic/giant dragon = boss. This includes Ridley in Brawl.

I posted my thoughts on this, and further discussion on the matter should go in this thread.

Ironically, one of my ideas was a team/swarm of Genesect. Never even stopped to consider a giant one.

I think the pokemon rep predictions are far too conservative. The only real and new rep we get from pokemon will be a completely different character. and we will at least get one new character. Pokemon wont be all just all returners (and I would count Mewtwo in just his awakened form as a returner).

I'm trying to think of a way that a trainer could accompany a Pokemon on the battlefield. The best trainer would be N but his style involves no signature pokemon. Perhaps the trainer from B and W with just one of the starters.

I can definitely see that. You could fight each of the heads before and then all of them together.

Definitely, it would at least leave room for the battle to change in some way.

And if they didnt use hewdraw id be fine with landia from return to dreamland as well.

yeeeeeah..... Perhaps they did mix up Twinbellows and Hewdraw.... At least both the Hewdraw and Ridley are purple and have yellow eyes....

depends on his icon. As long as he's not a clone, my guess is as a Paper Mario character.

I think he would be a Super Mario character as most of the cast in Paper Mario is the same cast in Super Mario and what happened to Dr.Mario too gives me more of a reason to think that.
