I dunno, I don't see why Wii Fit Trainer gets a male version, especially if the Villager does not (which I don't see).
It's not like classic Wario. Nobody cares about the Male Wii Fit Trainer.
Conversely, you could argue that he would be included to reference the the ability to choose between the two in Wii Fit. But I have my doubts.

Clearly someone did, as she was included in over the Male Trainer and is in the majority of the game's screenshots/posters, while the most we've gotten from the Male Trainer is a screenshot with Miss Fit.

I only really cared after she was revealed to be honest. Prior to her inclusion, I didn't even know you could choose between male and female trainers.

No one saw her as a All-Star at the moment, and lets face it shes unlike the other characters that have been included. It's not that i didn't care, but I didn't even consider her as any amount of likely. Had i been aware of her, I can honestly say I would be against her inclusion. After seeing a moveset, i actually might be maining her.
...I don't want to know how bad it has been the past few days.
Then again, when one picture of Naoto gets a Mod's attention.... bad sign. VERY bad sign.
