They are different indeed, but I think their playstyle is so similar, you might as well choose one or the other.
Takamaru has in addition shurikens and fireballs, none which Lyn has, so that's a bonus.

This is actually bs.
Shuriken are not exclusive to ninja. Samurai used them too.
Invisibility is a fictitious trait; ninja may be stealth-based and hide in the shadows, but not actual invisibility.
"Some form of fire" = fictitious based off of ancient myths (though some weapons invoked flammability).

Not only that, but Takamaru, a samurai, uses ALL THREE in his game. Rendering the point (if it had credibility) null.

Balloon Fighter is pretty much useless once his balloons popped... that's why Balloon Fighter changed his identity in SSB4... where he would still be useful even if his balloons are gone. :awesome:

I still don't see why they couldn't have made a moveset which involved micromanaging his balloons

And Sakurai would easily take abilities from a well recognized retro and give them to another character. It's been done before.

Ghirahim - Personal choice. Even if I didn't like him I would still choose him over the other Zelda candidates.

Your roster's fine. The only things I'd consider iffy are Ghirahim(which I know you aren't going to change) and Krystal, but those aren't huge issues.

There are people who cringe at the not-bad words of certain body parts... and try to ban/censor them altogether... for example... the word "scrotum" is the reason the book "The Higher Power of Lucky" garnered controversy in 2006-2007...

Your contradicting yourself, you say they are different, yet the same? wut?

Lyn's style would be like vergil's,

And takamaru would probably play like this:

Their sword styles are totally different and would play different, they can be unique, heck any character can. So I wouldn't be saying things like: oh he's in that means that person can't be in.

Our savior, bringing logic back once again. It seems like people need to be reminded that any character can play differently, even if they use the same abilities. So that is the daily rebuttal, come back tomorrow to do it again! :awesome:

I could replace Ghirahim with Tetra, but I can't cut Sheik and nobody wants three/four Zeldas, I hate Tingle, nobody wants Impa, Ghirahim it is.
