A good historical char would be Sheriff. First nintendo character and would add at to the mix of themes for chars: Space Bounty Hunter, Angel, Knight, Cowboy and etc

He had a melee trophy too! Sakurai knows him XP

Sssh. The forums have eyes. Actually sshing you seems like a weird thing to do in hindsight. You can't ssh text. Unless this counts.

But I can't see them altering Diddy anyway. Sakurai didn't exactly alter Ganondorf drastically from his Melee fighting style for Brawl, and he was a character a lot of people wanted to see get a huge makeover.
I don't see why Sakurai would suddenly do such a drastic alteration on a character who is for the most part; very representative of his in game abilities and persona.

Now...Dixie and Cranky/Kiddy tag team on the other hand...

...no, that won't happen either. But it'd be more accepted by Brawl fans than such a ridiculous overhaul on one of the more popular Brawl newcomers, which I'm sure Sakurai wouldn't want.

People got mad when Mario had a single move altered and gained FLUDD instead of the Mario Tornado, imagine what they'd do if they got rid of one of Diddy's best specials and made his playstyle considerably different?
Although admittedly people may of been mad about FLUDD replacing Tornado for other reasons, not just change...

Well, thanks for you and N3ON's critique! I'll think about making revisions to my roster tomorrow (Seeing how its late for me and I can't make rosters on the Wii U) with reasons provided of each newcomer and cut characters

If you look at Brawl's Zelda content. it was pretty much only Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, so not having a sticker or trophy doesn't mean much. And if Nintendo didn't care about Vaati, I doubt they would make him the only reoccuring villain in Zelda, and give him a 3DS ambassador and an anniversary edition.

If this was Pokemon, yes. Although Huge Power is a Huge Problem.

But this is Smash Bros, where Mewtwo, the most powerful genetically altered Pokemon formed from the genes of a cat routinely gets his ass kicked by a pink balloon with cutesy eyes and a baby electric mouse.

Nintendo didn't. Capcom did.

I just don't understand why they'd reference it now. The anniversary thing isn't more notable than it's initial release. And there are so many Zelda remakes out before this Smash Bros. Plus we have Wind Waker and Twilight Princess characters again. And Skyward Sword and Spirit Tracks Stages. OoT3d and WWHD got some things too. We haven't seen anything for ALBW. If 3 new handheld games affected nothing in Brawl, would an anniversary edition affect Smash Bros now?

A Hyrule/Lorule Castle that switches back and forth between the two worlds would be kickass.

Eh, they're pretty big deals in all of the games that they're in.

Also, Oracle of Ages/Seasons are not the same game. They're two completely different games with linked plotlines, over which Koume and Kotake are the Big Bads. They also play a fair-sized non-villain role in Majora's Mask (at least, their alternate universe versions do), and are pretty major characters within Ocarina of Time despite not appearing until late in the game.

Twinrova's a lot more important than you're making them out to be. They did raise little GanGan, after all...which kinda makes them trying to resurrect him in the Oracle games kinda sad. Twinrova could be a tragic villain if they bothered to do so.

Considering Wario Land 3 was my first Game Boy game, I wouldn't mind at all.

I remember the nightmare that boss was during my childhood.

Yeah, I can't take anything seriously that has the main characters from all of the "mainstream" animes as playable characters. Also, the first one plays like ass.

No, I'm not a hipster, I just hate most anime.
