First off, I like both. Second, no one was talking about them, I think. Third, what exactly are you saying here? You were not really well versed here.

  • Midna is because she is extremely unique, and Link and Zelda use their TP designs. It seems like something Sakurai would do to use the TP designs to get a unique newcomer.
  • Little Mac, Pac-Man and Mii are as good as confirmed. That leak made it pretty obvious that they all are getting in. Besides, every character has a little evidence. Little Mac has the boxing ring, Pac-Man has Namco-Bandai, and the Mii has that Find Mii stage. Naysayers say that the guy posted it as a "prediction", but really, they're just in denial because they don't want Mii or Pac-Man in the game.
  • Sylveon is there because the game will probably have a Gen 6 rep, and with the absence of a Lucario-type figure, Sylveon has a pretty good shot as a Gen 6 rep.
  • I acknowledge that I am being biased with Victini, but with Gamefreak apparently stopping Sakurai from revealing Pokémon characters, they may be controlling who gets in. Paired with the fact that he's Masuda's favorite, a trait shared with Pichu during Melee's release, he has a pretty solid shot.
  • Muddy Mole was added because he would be extremely unique, and I know Sakurai wants uniqueness.
  • Diskun is obviously the "historical" character, and he's the only real competitor besides Daitoryo (who I feel is a Smashboards-created concept Sakurai never thought of) and Sheriff (who uses guns which Sakurai wouldn't do). So yeah, Diskun is probably getting in.

YEAH MIDNA. Though I would think she'd be alone. Unlikely, though your logic on it is the same as mine.

Little Mac yes, Pac and Mii hell to the no. Because that leak was probably only half true.
I don't think we'd get a Gen6 rep just yet. So no.
No comment on Muddy.
No comment on Diskun, don't really know his importance.

Actually 2 people were talking about Toon Link. And what I'm saying is that Toon Link is hardly any less essential than Luigi. And regardless that Luigi was just as much a clone in Smash 64 as Toon Link is now. NOBODY complains that Luigi is a waste of space.

all legendary pokemon after 2 look so bad except for Victini who is my 3rd fav legendary (right after Ho-oh and Entei)
it's weird I hate almost all fire pokemon but all of my favorite legendaries are fire :ohwell:

Pokemon Bank? Lolno. Gen VI won't be in "Full swing" till those new regions arrive. AND YES, THERE IS PROOF.
BTW, I think Pokemon Bank is with Carmen Sandiego.

The final roster will probably not contain any 6th Gen. Pokemon, as there were no real popular choices for the generation when the roster was finalized last summer.
Personally, if they wanted a new Pokemon newcomer, they would go back to 5th generation and pick Zoroark.

I'm probably not phased by the cuts much, because it doesn't normally involve characters I'm in particular attached to. There are still several veterans I still would like to see returning, which at this point boils down to Ness, Ike, Meta Knight, Snake, Captain Falcon, and R.O.B. But still, I am not the type of person that gets upset over these things, mainly because there will always be an alternative.

Topic, if Subaru Garoo (sorry, I just love saying that.) gets in. Should he and would he use his sword? I know he used it as his Assist Trophy, but he often doesn't use it too. So he might get the Ganondorf treatment.

And yes, I just like discussing character that I only recently consider before realizing they really have a big chance of getting in. :p
