Also, anyone think we'll get another veteran announcement before the end of the month? Hopefully we finally get another pokemon character? I mean, Mario has five, Zelda has three, and even Kirby has two, while Pokemon has one, we're in dire need of a pokemon veteran announcement.

I hope we do, anybody would be fine with me, as everyone seems to think every Pokemon character has a chance of leaving, with the obvious exception of Pikachu.

I hope we do, anybody would be fine with me, as everyone seems to think every Pokemon character has a chance of leaving, with the obvious exception of Pikachu.

I wouldn't say that Mewtwo has a chance of leaving. He has LITERALLY nothing going against him, whilst having a plethora of valid notions that support his inclusion. He is the only character that I am confident enough to proclaim as a "lock" or "shoe-in".

I honestly thought that Dedede's reveal was much too close to the Zelda and Rosalina combo. We are going to have to wait for February unless he feels like revealing Sheik or another Kirby related character early.

I would hope so. Considering were likely getting Diddy on February 13 for TF, that's quite a ways away. Also, were probably getting increased pace of information due to the game coming out this year (hopefully.) I don't care who it is, but I dont want to wait that long.

Actually Tropical Freeze comes out on the 13th in Japan, so we're probably getting Diddy around a month from now.

Same, it is entirely obvious which veterans are returning and which veterans might not return. We already have the "logical" list. No guarantees Sakurai would adhere to it, but nevertheless, we have a pretty good idea of what will/could happen. Newcomers are what I am interested in. I am not excited to play Smash 4 because my favorite characters are returning... I would just play Brawl or Melee if I felt that way.

With Zelda and Dedede being revealed so close together, i believe that Sakurai has a lot of characters developed that he is holding out on, maybe not showing them until release

Obviously, Ghirahim. I make a joke out of it and I don't expect it, but if Ghirahim was revealed for this game, I would produce squeals of joy that the rest of the game could not ever replicate.

Your list seems pretty ideal, you probably have a good chance of getting most of them.

Yeah, Lucina would be quite hype. I would be excited to see the Cap. as long he more closely resembles his GX design, with the protruding helmet wings and all that.

I try not to stray too far from likely characters. Plus they'd all be unique and fun additions.
Although I don't expect Paper Mario. I just think he'd be an amazing addition.

If by characters you mean newcomers, than Layton, no doubt about it. But Rosalina made me very happy to see as well.

If you mean veterans. Well Toon Link already did it for me, but Mewtwo would make me incredibly happy to see again too.
