Obviously Kamek is the next step.
It's not like he/she wouldn't be unique either. If Sakurai decided that 2014 was such a big year for Yoshi that he gets another rep (which is possible) then Kamek just makes the most sense. In my opinion at least.

I honestly have no attachment to K. Rool, but I'm still going to be pissed if he doesn't get in because I know how many people want him and that he's important to the series. There are characters that I personally don't need in Smash but still want because I know there's massive demand for them and that loads of people would be really upset if they weren't in.

It seems a bit immature to be like "Yay!" to their absence just because you don't care about them.

Frankly, I think the odds of getting a 6th Mario rep is greater than that of getting a 2nd Yoshi's Island rep. Likewise, Mona and Ashley shouldn't get in over King K. Rool.

Okay, this seems more logical. Palutena, sure. Lip is ok, I guess. LM is obvious pick. Ridley is wanted, liking Vaati and Dixie, only weird choice to me is Louie. 9/10

I just figured it'd be good to give more additions to IPs. I can't really think of another pre existing IP that was likely or balanced out the roster.

I would imagine adding Louie/Alph is the same principal as adding Lucas.

I somewhat thought that, only exception is that PK Love really differentiated Lucas's move set. While Louie's differences would be fewer, but more competitively noticeable. Maybe being more sluggish and having different bodily attacks while implementing the Winged and Rock Pikmin. Maybe even a Titan Dweevil FS.

However if Olimar gets the winged and rock pikmin we can pretty much deconfirm him.

I see no reason why Louie would use Rock and Winged Pikmin instead of Alph.
I know Louie's playable in that multiplayer mode, but I mean Alph is the star of the show.

1. Why? yoshi's getting 2 games.

2. I did put a DK rep I found more likely, I would welcome K rool but I do think that another wario rep is likely. adding beef to more franchises other than beefing up only one.

If you want to beef up franchises, try Louie and Palutena. Makes way more sense than another Yoshi or Wario character .

Maybe we can have an Alph, Brittany, Charlie trio. They would totally feel different from Olimar. Plus we never had a trio before! It would totally represent Pikmin 3 well with its multitasking elements.
