Actually, what I'd like to see is implementing the system in the Yoshi games, using the aiming cursor and the eggs flying in a straight line.

Or simply have a target appear when you start aiming. Also the Egg Throw shouldn't be able to hit in any downward direction, or that would be pretty overpowered when it comes to edge guarding.

We'll likely have to wait a bit longer for Wario, until there's no "obvious" reveal in the month.
Example, not January, since Dedede.
Not February, since Diddy.
Maybe March?

EDIT: Though anniversaries don't matter, Wario being a March reveal could be a nod to WarioWare debuting on March 21st in Japan.

Pretty sure a newcomer and a Zelda title release were bigger opportunities.

Diddy Kong with Tropical Freeze.

Pokémon as random or something else

I can understand the Zelda part, but if Rosalina didn't show up, I would have expected the Climbers. But she did show up. A few more characters will be tied to releases.

So far, only 3 have releases tied to them, Olimar, Toon Link, and Zelda.

While it seems reasonable for Dedede and Diddy to be revealed around Triple Deluxe and Tropical Freeze, like with 3D World and X/Y, we might not get anything.

I do think Sakurai will be partial to Kirby and reveal Dedede, especially because it makes sense as both a character for the game's release, as well as the character of the month.

Diddy just makes sense to reveal with TF. However Sakurai could go and ruin things and NOT reveal Diddy.

It's a possibility, then again it isn't. Zelda was timed, but no other reveals have been, really.
