I've decided to do a little game with the weight mechanics, and my roster input. This is just speculation on my part...

Weight Value: Character(s)

Super Heavyweights

124: King K. Rool
120: Bowser
116: Donkey Kong

Heavyweights
112: King Dedede
110: Charizard
109: Samus
108: Ganondorf
106: Wario, R.O.B.
104: Link, Captain Falcon
102: Wolf, Mewtwo
101: Palutena
100: Lucario, Ivysaur

Middleweights
99: Mario, Yoshi, Luigi, Sonic
98: Ness, Mega Man
97: Little Mac
96: Pit, Ridley
95: Takamaru, Chrom

Lightweights
94: Rosalina
93: Bowser Jr.
92: Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong
91: Ice Climbers, Toon Link, Villager
90: Peach, Marth
88: Mega Mewtwo Y
87: Zelda, Wii Fit Trainer
85: Falco
83: Zero Suit Samus
81: Fox

Super Lightweights
79: Meta Knight
77: Pikachu, Olimar
75: Kirby
72: Squirtle, Mr. Game & Watch
60: Jigglypuff

Part of this has to do with Rosalina's confirmation as a lightweight character.
So...a fat crocodile is heavier than a fat turtle with a huge shell...

I kinda already expect Rosalina to be light overall, I bet she's pretty slow considering the fact she has Luma as her side-kick.

What she might lack in speed could be made up by her approach options; the Luma could always send the opponent flying towards Rosalina's attacking range.

Rosalina looks like a big target, with slightly low weight and slower than most. However, she probably makes this all up for range and reflection properties. Projectiles won't do **** to Rosalina. Falco's lasers for example wouldn't do her much.

Rosalina's reflector attack looks very bad...
It's like Mewtwo's side B in Melee.
It only protects from projectiles, but not reflect them...pretty useless if you ask me.
The normal shield is a better option lol

It does depend on your point of view though, since opponents can just block their own projectiles with their own shields if they get reflected. And of course, the star barrier wouldn't cause your shield to shrink either.

I'm a bit late on this, but I think Tingle has loads of potential for moveset and he's extremely iconic. It's just a war between his popularity and his infamy at this point; people either love or hate him. The characters we've seen so far actually make me feel a bit better about his chances though, due solely to how unique and strange he is.

Also, I'm an actor as well! If anybody wants to see my films or skits or anything...there's actually probably a board for that, I'll look for it.

As far as Rosalina's reflector goes, we really have to see how her whole moveset goes together. Maybe there's a good reason she doesn't deflect projectiles?

In multiplayer, I can see her reflector being really useful. If someone is throwing a fully charged projectile (like Samus' Charge Shot), you can putt up your reflector, and it can go hit the person behind you for massive pwnage.

But,the point is that Rosalina's attack doesn't reflect projectiles to the enemy, the projectiles goes behind her.

This will make you wonder if the projectile will be Rosalina's after it touches the barrier.

It's still better than seeing your shield get broken.

Rosalina's gravity shield will probably be rather effective with Link/Toon Link's bombs, Peach's turnips and Mega Man's Metal Blades. There is an interesting question, though. Will Rosalina be able to deflect items/ item projectiles like the ones above? For example, let's say that Rosalina is between Mega Man and Samus. Will Rosalina be able to deflect both the Metal Blade and the Charge Shot, or will she pull in the Metal Blade and only deflect the Charge Shot?

I think that the likely reason is that there are certain qualities to the Metal Blade. It's in a normal projectile state, until it hits the ground or a platform. It's then an item. Rosalina can deflect the item if it's in the projectile state, but will pull it in if it's in the item state. Since bombs and turnips are always in the item state, she'll draw them in.

Probably won't hurt her much if it is useless, most of the better characters in Brawl had useless moves. She'll get a lot of complaints in item matches though.

I feel like she's going to be awful in most competitive matches but amazing in Doubles and Odd Matches. She's likely to be a counterpick to projectile heavy characters.

I disagree. Only the Ice Climbers had some bad special moves. MetaKnight, Diddy, Olimar, Snake and Falco have crazy good specials.

I can see Rosalina being the ultimate clutch character for doubles.
