As much as I don't like the inclusion of chrom. to be fair, he did save the franchise from being F-zero'd. and is somewhat different from marth i guess, he's really a ike/marth hybrid tbh. (cause that's what IS was going for when they were designing him.....)

People believe the sales of a game influence a character's chances, even though in actually it's more like the quality of the character itself that gets a character onto the roster.

If by personal you mean unique. I don't tend to put in characters by preference. Also, maybe I'll put an annotation that says "Louie G. was here"
