what'd i miss guys?
holy crap i was here on wednesday?
i dream of a series of smash games where i double post in bickering threads.
a game with a different set of rosters to give a large number of nintendo characters a chance to shine in the battle arena
a game with inventive stages from a great many nintendo games not just from recent years, but from the pre-smash era when takamaru and mach rider got their first shot.
a game where if the same character appeared in both, they would be radically different giving a new gameplay experience for the user. Be it Ganon, Zelda, Mario, or Pikachi in their 20's 30's or 50's [levels in regards to pokemon i suppose]
a game for the hardcore who break down the data and matchups. who care for the meta and the competitive nature inherent in a fight
and another game for the fans first who could care less about any of that stuff what makes the characters special and unique, but who'll still get it anyway
and another game halfway in the middle, where characters are picked not based on popularity today or standing in the hallowed nintendo halls of all time, nor their feasability, but by the votes of the people where no one criteria would stand above the other. when diskun would get in because enough people voted for him and decided YES! LETS MAKE THIS WHOLE THING RETRO! and mario doesn't have to fight the disk card he wiped his bum with that few people today remember or talk about unless they're dieharddieharders
i did however never dream of Marth who is bland, never being not bland, because there are like a million other fire emblem characters and classes so y'know move over and quit hogging the spotlight with your cheap falchion waving booty. at least our boy Roy took his lumps because it meant getting in close for that crit. #HectorForSmash4 #MarthIsBland
