Nope, if I said 0 chance i'd get flamed. So i'm gonna say slim chance, but isn't likely.

I like Balloon Fighter A LOT. But I do think the Villager is an indication against him...

I don't think the Balloon Fighter has any chance as a playable character at this point.

If anything, I'd think at this point he could be an Assist Trophy or a character in a stage.

There seriously needs to be a Balloon Fighter stage.

I want to see a Flat Zone 2 like stage that changes for NES games. Same for Virtual Boy. Admit it, Virtual Zone would be A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!!!!! Everything is Red and black in 3D, changing to Mario Clash, Wario Land, Getting hit with Tennis Balls and turtles shells!

If you are referring to Kirby Super Star Ultra,Bandana Dee survives to Kirby without a scratch,is in the public in the Masked Dedede battle just after the battle with Kirby.

Also "hurr derr" do you seriously think sakurai is going overload the roster with retros bluepikmin? takamaru and little mac are good choices, i don't think he'll put someone like balloon fighter, when villager already has his up-b as a recovery. but you seem to think that this is super retro bros. super bluepikmin bros.

Say when Kirby sucks in WFT, his hat becomes her hair supposedly and he gets a ponytail. What happens when Kirby sucks in Man Fit Trainer? Does he get man hair? Or does he get a ponytail either way? Same if we get a Doc costume for Mario. Does he get a regular Mario hat, or does he get the Doc hat like in Melee?

EDIT: Also, after watching the direct yesterday, I've got a lot of hope for Blue Toad.

No I think there is a limit of retros. Personally I would think it would be 3 to 4 retros.

Well personally i prefer the air. Why? when we can have: Little mac, palutena, ridley, dixie or King K. Rool, Chrom or Roy, A mario character, Shulk, Isaac, Saki, Mewtwo, etc. would you really want a retro over one of these characters? Personally the only retro we'd get would be takamaru, we still have good newcomers to choose from ya know. (also I glad you replied to this I wanna get the thread movin )

@espio, ponytail, just like ZZS. as for MFT he'll get his hair, and as for doc mario he'd get his stethoscope thingy.

Wow, getting through Super Double battles is no easy feat, took a few days there and I managed to beat it on the first try though the final battle wasn't as hard as it could've been. No complaints though, more BP for items!

Interesting idea. I would imagine a Wii Fit branded sweatband to keep it neutral between the two, but that does bring up the question for Mario and Dr. Mario if the good doctor did end up being an alternate costume.
Although, Wario's Kirby hat was just his biker helmet for both Biker and Overall Wario. So I assume the same would be for characters and their alternate costume Kirby hats.

Well again, I suggested a Wii Fit branded sweatband, which would be a perfect gender neutral Kirby hat.

Same is possible for Villager and femVillager, just use the Horned cap that you create using custom designs. It's really not that difficult.

People are simply making the misconception that every single release will correlate to something. Though, that's kind of asinine considering we've already gotten some pretty notable inconsistencies that for some reason nobody takes into consideration.

Regardless I don't see how Roy is invalid, the only thing Chrom has over him is maybe being slightly more iconic for a little bit being a better selling game which only slightly affects the character itself. Regardless I don't see how Roy is invalid, the only thing Chrom has over him is maybe being slightly more iconic for a little bit being a better selling game which only slightly affects the character itself. That and Chrom being more unique the misconception that Chrom can be unique, but Roy can't.

I never said anything like Roy cant be more unique and never did I advocate for Chrom. both could potentially be more unique. however Chrom is in a better position for consideration because his single game sold more than Roys and actually revitalized the franchise in addition to be the newest protagonist. but again, irdc. all I really want from Fire Emblem is Marth so yay.
