I see. But I still know which characters could be added based on many factors like popularity, sources, and such.

Blue, you know you're my friend, right?
I mess with my friends, joke around with them. You're the center of jokes because of Dr. Kawashima and the like.
Tom Nook is a popular character, I will not disagree, but Villager deletes the need for Tom.
Characters like Kawashima and Nintendog are not high demand characters. If you really want popularity, look at Mewtwo and K. Rool. They should be on your roster first and foremost.

I hath returned from a nice night out.

Zelda, eh? Well, I don't know. The problem is, she has some interference. There's so much going on in November, all around the 21-22. Little Mac's anniversary, Falcon's anniversary, 3D World, Mario Party Island Tour (I guess Wario/Yoshi could represent that), but it's tough to call. In December, there's KI anniversary and a probable direct about upcoming 2014 games. No doubt Smash will be included in that stream.

It's gotta be November. I sense a December Direct, which we will most likely get, will feature something big for Smash. So I expect Zelda would be revealed early, despite her Japanese December release date, to give spotlight to the Direct.

You know who is popular? Kanye West. You know who is important to Nintendo? The Marketing department. You know who's requested? Conker. All of these factors can get people in. But, you must first realize there are factors that can keep people OUT.

I've actually wanted to hack Lord Jabu Jabu in Brawl as a joke character. One of his attacks would be shooting Biri out his mouth and attacking sort of like Swalot in Pokemon Type Wild.

Also, there actually is a Crocomire thread on here made by legendofrob.

With this info, I'm really hoping for Palutena in December. Hopefully Mac in November, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
I had predicted a big name newcomer by the end of the year, so we shall see.

Exactly. I predict a newcomer in December. That's when all the fun happens! (Maybe Sakurai will give us all an early Christmas present with someone like Little Mac or Palutena... or Ridley)

Taking a while. I'm working on Roster Workshop, Chef Kawaski, Count Bleck, Mega Bidoof's pictures, the Nintendo Theory MaskO'Gears made, watching Powerpuff Girls, fixing my Wii, shopping for my little brother's birthday, finishing Mega Man 2, making the Lord Jabu-Jabu thread, I've got a lot on my plate.
