Mother could definitely warrant 3 reps, but the bottom line is it more deserving than every other potential character, and will it be well recieved?

If its another PSI wielding character, lkke Ninten, it wont be as well recieved as say, Porky. Most will see Ninten and think its just another one of those psychic characters, whereas Porky would be a nice switch.

Adding a villain would be a nice way to round off that series, but if its another psi wielding protagonist, im not very interested because we have seen it twice before.

Oh of coarse! That's exactly why I support the Masked Man. He's capable of PSI, but he doesn't actively use it when fighting. He'd be something different, and I believe that he, as a character, deserves to be in Smash Bros.

Is it the harming of puppies you are concerned of. That's understandable.
But when you set it aside, it would be absolutely hilarious to see a puppy fight Ridley.

My concern is not only about the Puppy in question but the moveset that would have and the hit boxes will be weird. Will it be bigger than say Squirtle or even bigger than Kirby if thats the case it would look more of a mature dog losing the appeal for me (if I understand correctly the Nintendogs never grow up). And I know what would you say about resize the character like Bowser and Olimar but because we are talking in this case about a real dog it would be weird to change its proportions.

Hmm.. I think Nintendog's size would be small as Squirtle ducking. He would be hard to hit and ungrabbable, but the disadvantages of Nintendog though is his light weight and weak attacks, but with a surprisingly good combo game. It all connects pretty nicely to why Nintendog would be small. I don't think Nintendog would be bigger than the size of Mario.

I'd much rather talk about what it'd be like for a real dog to be in Smash, and how mascots/game protagonists somehow have relate-able chances to icons. This thread gets better and better.
