Haha, I don't want to bore everbody's pants off, but I don't think that the images that this thing creates would work on a normal TV, the aspect ratio looks to be more intended for a widescreen TV. So, realistically, if the roster was laid out like that, you wouldn't be able to fit that many characters on there. Here's a fake select screen I made in photoshop with a 4:3 aspect ratio, which is what normal TVs have -

Not trying to rain on your guys' fun, though, this does seem like a nifty little tool for creating fake rosters for those who have better things to do than sit infront of photoshop all day, unlike me Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up.

I don't think my Prt Scrn button is working...
What is it supposed to say/do if I press it?

The Prt Scrn button takes a screenshot of whatever's on your monitor. To see if it worked, open paint and hit ctrl+v. If the screen you hit prt scrn on appears, then it worked

Finally Here's mine.

Here is some reasons for those "weird to some" characters..

Geno- he's a third party MARIO rep, so all they need is permission for him, he won't be a third party character.
Kamek-Perfect 2nd Yoshi rep, villain, just plain awesome
Midna-Less Zelda reps than Melee? Blasphemy!!
Ness-Not dead yet! Just buried alive >_<
Dark Samus- Metroid needs 3 reps, next best person
Ray Mk__- Well, he's awesome, so I included him
Mega Man-Still got a chance
Bomberman-Awesome And has pretty good history on Nintendo
Master Chief-I found him, so I included him I'm not serious about him though..
Grey space- Count as Random space

Just wanted to say that the standard roster displayed on that page is also the most likely in my eyes. Nothing too weird, still enough new popular characters to please the fans.

It couldn't have gotten this many posts without you. I am now gonna upload my roster since i screwed up the first time.

Crono is there, he's just underneath some of the other square enix/soft/whatever characters, there are quite a few characters that are buried under others.

My DREAM DREAM roster would have Knucks and Wolf on it, but this is a mix of my dream and logical roster, based on everybody elses rosters:

I think my only noteworthy unreasonable characters in here from greatest to least are as follows; Siegfried, Nook, Mach Rider, Tingle, Roy, Dark Samus, and lastly, Issac. Nice and fun thing here.

And I tried to keep all families together. Nook and Issac are smaller series with one character, Falcon is with the StarFox people because his and Foxes movesets are both made-up in Smash, ect.

My Roster. Looks pretty balanced, almost every series have 2 reps, even Yoshi! (Kamek). Adding Mii was sure better than adding all those characters.
