I HAVE BEEN WANTING NEW TYPES SINCE GEN II. PLEASE GAMEFREAK LISTEN TO MY PRAYERS.

Sound should be effective on Psychic. You know, concentration can be disturbed by noise.

I remember saying Fighting should be weak to Sound, for one, to balance the game since Fight dominates atm. 2nd because fighters heavily rely on balance an your equilibrium is in the ear.

Water, Ice and Rock should also be weak to sound. Water allows for better movement of sound and Sound can shatter both Ice and Rocks.

Steel should resist both Sound and Light since it can reflect both. Or maybe Steel can be immune to Light and resist Sound.

Light can be good against Dragons for balance, Ghosts, for obvious reasons, and Dark, since every light casts a shadow, and anti-matter and all that.

Water should resist Light for obvious reasons. As should Dark, since Light doesn't do away with darkness if you think about it.

I'm more concerned with new moves that solves the problems with certain Pokemon, most notably stronger Ghost, Dark, and Psychic type moves. In particular a Dark type Double-Edge would be good for Pokemon like Weavile, Sharpedo, Bisharp, Honchkrow, and Absol.

Costume would make no sence, as Mewtwo in Melee had a lot of moves involving it's tail. This dude has the tail on his head, which would make animations quite different.

That's true. Then again, he could still get a revamped moveset that doesn't involve his tail. Final Smash then? :/

Oh I was thinking more along the lines of Giga Bowser and Wario Man but I think the Samus/Zamus way would work out better now that I think about it. That makes the 6th gen rep more than just a mere final smash character you can briefly play as.

He could be made selectable through EX mode AND Final Smash. And I'd say a clone Gen 6 newcomer is better than none at all. I personally want Brawl's Pokemon cast + Mewtwo, but this guy also wouldn't be bad to have.

I think it'll still be called Mewtwo in the end, but with 'X form' attachted to it or something, speaking of... X form or Y form could totally work, as Mewtwo is the DNA Pokemon. And one would be male, the other female.
