My work changed their requesting time off rules so now I have to book days off 3 weeks in advance. It would be pretty handy for me if we could decide on a Feb date.

Olimars these days are spoiled, they don't even have to fight MKs.

We won't be unbanning MK any time in the foreseeable future, and I don't see any argument for unbanning him other than that Mark wants to, and he made a list of people who voted against the ban.

I've seen no evidence or example that the game is worse or somehow less legitimate because a character was banned. There are many fighting games with banned characters out there (e.g. Melty Blood).

APEX was cool, and a blast to watch, but we still haven't seen any huge national/international tourneys without MK, and we still haven't seen enough of the metagame without him to make any judgements on that front. The ban started this week, ffs.

There are no banned characters in Melty Blood I dunno what you're talking about. Lol. Competitively speaking anyway.

Archetype Earth in PS2 was a joke character 100%. She was MADE to be broken, completely intentional. She's also one of those unlockable characters. That's a horrible example lol.

Akuma from that one SF (SF2?) game would be a better example.

A even better example would actually be Akuma in HD remix, seeing as in the original Super Turbo he was a secret boss character that wasn't really meant to be taken seriously, but in HD Remix they tried to make him balanced for competitive play but he still ended up being broken.
