Yes it was Iota's first ever in person tourny. I play Iota online a lot and I was expecting him to take it but I didn't know Chu would be there. Iota later said the usual stuff he does against the kirby MU just didn't work on Chu.

Iota mains Wario.

He can play most of the cast at, at least mid-level imo but Wario is by far his best. I can beat his other characters sometimes but against Wario I have practically no chance xD. Though I think Wifi seriously nerfs his luigi (his main secondary).

The skills iota has honestly i'm guessing he probably took a match from chu and made him sweat.

Iota isn't very experienced IRL but he's quite good.

Incidentally, I'm curious if his set vs Chu was recorded at all. Wasn't it promised that brawl GFs would be streamed?

results were probably just copy pasted out of Tio and didnt have money inputted in. everyone was paid.

i think there was like 24 entrants for melee, 12 or so for brawl.

I took one game off of Chudat in WFs. It was a high percent two stock on brinstar (he then proceeded to whoop my *** on his CP iirc...). GGs all, had a lot of fun playing friendlies and stuffz. Glad I only got 2 stocked twice by chu when I was using Wario

If there is a similar event towards the end of march/april, who would be interested in coming? The fact that this conflicted with 2 other tournament and we got 24 entrants is pretty significant IMO.

Oh, I didn't see that message. I didn't sleep on him though I was going into the sets expecting to lose (even though I was acting cocky.) My main hope was to get him down to last stock, which I did 2/3 times in the GFs set.

Sigh... Didn't make it out of bracket. It was a lot of fun though. Had some close matches. It was nice seeing everyone.
