EDIT: There was a slight mixup with the room that I wanted to use for this, and as such, we won't be able to start until 5:30. I know this is a late change, but I figure that most people wouldn't come exactly at two, and I don't see anyone here now, so I hope that everyone who planned on going gets this in time. In the future, they'll probably all be at this time, so that it won't happen again.
So, the Smash Club at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) has decided that we need to get more smashers in the region playing this game, so we want to try monthly smashfests. The last time we had an unofficial smashfest, it turned out to go really well, and it was suggested that with the arrival of the new school year, we hold one monthly.
We want to do the first one on October 1st, which is a Saturday, from 5:30 pm - midnight, or later, in the RIT Student Alumni Union basement (SAU). We can have use of the room until 2 am.
For the time being, only Melee is confirmed, but other setups for Brawl/MvC3/SSF4 are cool too. Those would just have to be discussed in advance. And there are at least 3 setups confirmed, but the more setups here, the better (and perhaps a large surge protector, too).
The address for the college is:
Rochester Institute of Technology
1 Lomb Memorial Drive
Rochester, NY 14623-5603
If you believe you'll need help getting to the SAU after arriving at the college, feel free to PM me in advance (up until the day of is fine), and I'll help you out.
Okay, so food. There is a relatively decent place on campus called The Commons, open until midnight, that has decent food. An average meal is probably about 7-10 dollars, so keep that in mind. There is also the on campus cafeteria, but that's like 10 bucks. It IS a buffet-type setup, so you just pay about 10 dollars, and eat as much as you wish, for as long as you wish. Both of these are on campus, and are easy to guide to. Feel free to pack something, too. As for off-campus places, I'm not too sure about those.

EDIT: Armando and Jeremy are right, it's probably best that if you wish to eat, you do so at The Commons. Gracie's is simply...questionable.
