Those invincibility frames... While so-so in the recovery sense, his up B is definitely not to be underestimated in the offensive sense.

I have a question.

Does Ridley's Neutral B have a property where if he is hit while charging his fireballs, it explodes in his face and he takes extra damage (damage from opponent's move + some extra damage from his fireball exploding) but the opponent does not?

Yes it does.

It also cancels all knockback of the move used to detonate his mouth.
Oh OK, thank you.

I was shocked when I hit him with a single Luma Star Bit at the very start of the match and Ridley took 22.8% damage, but he was charging Neutral B so that explains it.
