Requesting tournament for San Francisco Bay Area residents.

I'd like to request a tournament to gather residents of the San Francisco Bay Area. Of course, I'm not fond of the idea of running one myself. I have my reasons. So I want somebody else to set it up.

However, I will NOT join if:
*Powerful or even halfway powerful items (Star Rod counts as halfway, Final Smash counts as simply powerful) are allowed.
*Wiichucks and GCN controller are banned.
*Certain stages aren't banned. (I'm mostly concerned about Spear Pillar, luckily, though WarioWare is very likely to deserve a ban, just for granting invincibility to somebody who taunts even when get interrupted.)
*Despite it being preferable for me that the participants would meet IRL (online is fine, but IRL I would feel better about), the location of meeting if doing so IRL is not convenient. (If it's close to the BART line, that is optimal.)

If you'd just lurked for a week or so to learn how the boards work, you'd know that you could just post a simple question in the NCB thread and this would have spared you this ridicule that you've subjected yourself to. You can also easily check other tournament threads or forums to see what is typically banned or not in tournaments, though I'd be happy to explain to you why Spear Pillar is banworthy.

If you don't have a backup character, I'll assume an easy time is actually somehow not being ***** due to Dedede's poor cooldown that I can easily capitalize on. And I got a way to kill Dedede more easily. Oh, the only thing I'll tell you is that Ike can die with still double digit percentage before being hit.

And I know what's typically banned. I'm just going on the safe side to avoid a stupid repeat of that GameStop tournament that Hilltop Mall had on launch day. They were just plain unfair and I had suffered a stupid first round elimination because of it.

Well we see eye-to-eye then. I don't use my 1st or 2nd mains because I don't want to make people feel bad and want to quit. In fact, I can tell you I tear up people in not 1, but 2, yes TWO of my local malls.

You have so much legitimate arguments on why people are so bad, I just cant argue with you.

Honestly, when you come somewhere new like Smashboards or any other forums, you lurk for a bit and see how it works. Hosting a tournament costs time, costs a place to set it all up in and is a lot of work. You can't just tell other people to host a tournament, it's not like they haven't thought about it. Also, telling people the rules that a tournament should follow down in Smashboards where the rules are pretty much made is a bit silly, don't you think?

I don't have a FC because I don't have a Wii. I don't have a Gamecube either
