Realistically speaking, are there any 3rd party companies that DON'T want to see their characters in Smash?

Seeing as how Smash is a huge crossover and also helps advertise, are there any companies that wouldn't want to have characters in?

Well I don't know if this sounds realistic, in fact it might sound petty if you ask me, but I'm not to keen on the idea of Persona character being in the game.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sony was one of those companies, given that they've seemingly gone back to being "arrogant Sony"

That's one that comes to mind yes.
It is pretty strange that even Microsoft wants their characters in Smash. Ones that were originally associated with Nintendo, but still. Even then, I still wouldn't put it past MS to require Master Chief to be in alongside Banjo as a package deal.

Not to mention, if they ever hope to bring back PSASBR, lending Nintendo one of their characters would not be smart. (Especially after losing Snake and Cloud)

I'm still flabberghasted about how they could have dropped the ball so hard on something that they should have put all of their time and resources into ensuring it was the best game they had ever produced.

I know, right? The concept of combat revolving around super moves was really cool and could have been a great alternative to Smash if it had been implemented better. (Though I could be biased when I say that...)

maybe ubisoft
Ubisoft has been pretty friendly with Nintendo, considering they made Mario + Rabbids, plus DLC for that game. As well as Star Link and all the Star Fox stuff being put into that.
Plus Just Dance 2017/18, Rayman Legends, and Monopoly were all ported over to the Switch.

yeah i know that ubisoft is friendly with nintendo, but i didn't see any crossover with rayman and they add him in brawlhalla,i think ubisoft really doesn't want rayman in smash or doing a crossover with any nintendo characters maybe i don't know,i don't trust them how they treats the limbless helicopter boy

Actually, I was never fond of only killing with a special. A fight could go on for so long and never lead anywhere else. I know Smash isn't immune to timeouts, but you could just run away from people who had specials. It has been a long time since I've played it, so I can't recall if falling off a cliff applied to losing a stock. I think they wanted to be as close as Smash, but not use the exact same formula. I mean they could have just used HP instead.
