using any kind of wii control is a hinderance compared with a GC controller, first, although the classic controller isn't bad, just some obvious advice that someone would inevitably have given. if he can't get a GCN controller, I highly recommend he switch to classic controller at least
only watched a few of the vids, lots of questionable decisions made, I think mostly he needs experience, like, there's stuff in there that really shouldn't need to be said(like, do not just stand there letting them laser you forever) or things that need to be practiced to get a feel for like drill rush recovery where he suicided. lots of times where he was too tentative, MK thrives on pressure. not necessarily attacking mindlessly, but do not let a projectile user get way away from you and stay way away from you, you must live inside of their zone of discomfort. falco is a bit harder to punish but pit absolutely should not be able to play MK that way. MK needs to get in the range where your sword outranges him but you're too close for him to be comfortable shooting arrows. some general strategy there, again, watching a few of these I believe I see someone who doesn't really know their character that well, which mostly comes with experience, gotta know where and when to use every move.
it's also hard to critique because I know how badly a bad control scheme can mess you up, I'm almost hesitant to get into how bad some of it was because it might be quite unjust, really, tell him to learn either a GCN controller or wii classic controller, it will make a world of difference in how comfortably and quickly you can execute your commands, which is especially important with meta knight.
edit: spacing is also pretty bad in parts, you want to attack from as far away as possible to prevent getting hit, again learning the attacks is key, he might want to just go in training mode and mess around to see what attacks have what range and what their timing is, you always want to attack in the manner that maximizes the risk : reward ratio in your favor, attacking from close with laggy attacks is a high risk, don't do it. attacking from beyond their range with a quick attack is great, do it often! ftilt and dtilt are generally your best spacing tools on the ground while fair and bair are great in the air, aerial approach is good because it allows you to attack and retreat a bit at the same time. dair is also great against many opponents because of its semi circular hit box, if you can angle yourself diagonally that is a blind spot for many characters where they don't have an easy answer.
he also goes into a glide from shuttle loop very often, why? it limits your options to do that every time...hold the jump button after a second jump to glide and be able to cancel/attack without going into fall mode
I could go on a ton but I'm lazy =/ honestly I don't know how much good a detailed breakdown would be anyway, I think he mostly just needs experience
