You play pretty a pretty good Ike. I saw you had some pretty good moments of anticipation, particularly in match 3, with the counter off the edge and the forward smash in match 4. Your spacing is also pretty good...

However (uh-oh...)

I really don't see enough mindgames, especially when you have high damage. This is when mindgames can really help, as the opponent is eager to finish you off quickly to level the playing field. Use this to your advantage by retreating and SHFF Nairs, and punish if the opponent is caught of-guard.

You can also use other attacks of out the two jabs, or even jab-cancel. Some examples are A,A,F-tilt / A,d-tilt / [Jab cancel this, if you don't know how you just slam down on the control stick before the end of the jab] A(cancel),A(cancel),grab

What I usually do when I want to be inspired, I just watch Silven, Kirk, or Azen. :D

No really, I quit.
You roll, particularly towards the opponent, a lot. The only reason I noticed is because I was told the same thing a couple of weeks ago and have since attempted to eliminate it from my gameplay so when I do see it now when fighting other ikes i'm like "wow that's kind of on the heavy side". Sooner or later though people are just going to learn to Dsmash whenever you miss a move because they know you're going to attempt to get behind them. Spot dodge a little/lot more, or hell just reset the jab counter and try another. If they block a jab, grab right out of it.

Thanks for the matches earlier Boon.

Anyways, those videos were good, I can't give you any advise that has not already been said (all of which I need to follow as well ).

way, WAAAYYY too many f-air's for approaching, and you get punished for it way too easilly mix it up a bit more. Other uses for f-air though are to follow your opponent off the edge with it, or you can use it to cover your retreat by jumping backwards and using the c-stick...also you don't seem to use QD too much...which is bad and good yes there are many people that say don't use it, but that does not mean dont ever use it.

QD is more of an approach and is great for mindgames, like making someone drain their shield or air dodge too early if you're charging it up.
