Smash Master
So yeah heres some stuff.
-On Pokemon Stadium 1, if a select few of characters are recovering, and they grab the ledge and they are DIing towards the stage, you can stage spike them with Dtilt. Gdubs gets hit by this, havent tested everyone else yet. Doesn't work on MK or Snake tho![Frown :( :(](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
-Pikmin Lock: if you have at least 2 purples (and nothing else) you can lock an opponent against a wall with sideB, usually up to 60%ish. On fox, once he hits 60% and bounces off the wall, if he doesn't tech you can catch him with an Usmash and it will KO. The timing with 2 purples is pretty hard, while 3 purples you can almost spam it. Just another reason to pick Corneria.
I've been working on trying to lock certain characters (namely the spacies) across FD, I actually did it once against a CPU fox by accident, haven't been able to duplicate it since. The cool thing was, I had 3 or 4 purples, and once I got him to the edge of the stage, I actually locked him off the stage as he was recovering, and it knocked him so far back that I didn't even have to edgeguard. I've decided that I'm gonna start edgeguarding people with purples the way peach does with turnips: throw the purple, and while they are busy dodging it, spike or fair.
-Pictochat: Holy hell, this might be Olimar's best stage. I know there was a topic on this stage a while back but I'll reiterate some of it here. With the plant thing, if you do an uthrow underneath it, your opponent will get sent flying, and while they are up in the air, the pikmin will actually throw them from that spot. This means super **** purple Uthrow kills.
You can do something similar with the fire, the spikes on the side of the stage, the 4 spikes on the bottom of the stage, and that little train car that goes back and forth.
A GREAT counterpick against Ice Climbers, because you can hang out on all the things that are being drawn, and if they grab you, the drawing will go away and you can get out of the infinite. Also, the edge of the stage curve down, so Olimar can do his upB and make it back much easier even if someone is grabbing the edge.
-Super miscellaneous **** I can think of because I feel like helping the Olimar community because if I throw these ideas at you maybe you can expand on them and help me get better too:
Keep throwing forward smashes at a character when they are on the ledge, then after a while charge an upsmash. they will jump above you because they think you are doing a forward smash, and you can **** them. I love how all of Olimars moves look alike. Works amazingly well on Marth.
Practice being unbelievably aggressive off stage. Go for suicide combos if you have to. It'll scare the **** out of your opponents, and it's good practice for testing your own limits off stage.
Purple pikmin->Fair, when both of them connect simultaneously=****
thats all my secrets I feel like giving up.
k hope I got the ball rolling on some ideas.
