Tilted throws.

Imagine it; more throws with the same directions. Mewtwo's back throw could be aimed down so that the opponent would be slammed into the ground kinda like his down smash; from which they either tech it or get bounced up for a possilbe combo.

CF's up throw aimed to the right so that comboing with it could be made easier.

doing some of these close to the edge could really casue some problems with quick kills possibly. Or they might do it so that it'll act differently; but i dunno how exactly it'd be done >_>

I really dunno much; just an idea that randomly popped into my head a while back.

uhm.. not sure what else i can say about it. some people thought it was intersting; some didnt' really like it.

In a way it could help chain throwers; but at the same time due to more distance *Sheik's down throw angled right + good di might make it harder for sheik to chain grab since the throw already sends you that way* but either way; tell me your opinions and uhm.. just dont' spam this topic >_>

Sounds exploitable. Maybe it would be cool though to have diagonal throws... but made in a way so you couldnt throw your oponnent off the stage at a wickedly mean angle.

How about just changing the throw altogether?

For example, start with Mewtwo's back throw, and in the middle, smash foward to switch to the forward throw.

Of course, there'd have to be some mechanic to keep it from being abused as one giant stall. Like an exponentially decreasing timing window.

I think expanding on the throw side of Smash would be a point in the right direction. Tilted throws would help support Sakurai's 'let's change up airial battles' aspect and would shadow Smash 64. (throws were king there)
