Hi everyone,

For anyone interested, there's a growing subreddit out there devoted entirely to smash:

I wouldn't normally post something general like this in the Ike boards, but the idea is that if we get a significant response from every character board, we'll end up with a sort of "hub" where everyone can go to keep up with developments in every part of the metagame.

So with that said, we need your help! Come join us; teach us about your character, post new ATs, or Ike insights, or anything Ike related you feel may be of use to the community at large. Most people will appreciate what you post, and if every character board joins in, it could greatly benefit the whole community.

Funny, I know of an online forum we already have that pertains to Smash. It's called Smash World Forums. At Smashboards.com. You should check it out.

The idea is that it makes everything way more accessible so you can learn a lot more in a lot less time.

Reddit lets you aggregate everything in one page and uses community voting to determine what the big stories are.

Just to make it more clear, the goal of r/smashbros is community expansion. We want to attract the general gaming population of reddit to r/smashbros so we can advertise our competitive community to all of these new faces. This is where you guys all come in: redditors won't subscribe to an inactive subreddit. We need smashboards users to boost activity so that more redditors become interested and subscribe and post their own stuff. Consider r/smashbros as a sort of stepping stone between reddit and Smashboards.

I would usually just ask something about a certain character's MU in the pertaining character's social thread here on smashboards.
