I was informed about an hour ago that my Uncle Al passed away at 59 years old. May he experience eternal peace and happiness.
Some background on him and what caused all of this......
Although he is my Uncle, I feel he was even more significant to my father, as they are fraternal twins(don't look alike, but were born at the same time). My father is about 5 minutes older than him. I haven't really talked to my Uncle in the past couple years. He's been quiet since his wife passed away several years ago.
What lead up to this:
About 2-3 weeks ago my Uncle was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer(I dont remember what kind) which is nearly incurable. It had spread to several areas of his body.
It could of been caught a lot earlier apparently, but it seems my uncle failed to get himself checked out enough. From what I gather, he was having serious weight loss issues starting a year ago, and that may of been a warning sign.
I am sad because of the loss, but at the same time I'm more-so worried about my father hoping he makes it through this alright.
For those of you that pray, I ask that you keep my Uncle and my family, especially my father, in your prayers.
