In case you haven't heard yet, Michael Jackson just passed away today. As of now, the death is unknown.

......

Man, quite alot of people is taking this hard. I don't know what to say, it was pretty sudden. So what do you guys think about this? Music just now lost one of their biggest icons. Like him or not, he was a awesome performer. Thanks for the years..

R.I.P my dude

There's already an official thread on this with over 100 replies in the Pool Room, go post there.

♥ My post count is my age. Deal with it.
I have read on AOL that Michael Jackson's death was caused by cardiac arrest.
The latest news "says" that Michael Jackson was taking some prescription drugs prior to his death.

The only way to know the cause of the death is through autopsy. Time will tell.

R.I.P. Michael Jackson.

I'd like to note most of the posting in the MJ thread was some of the stupidest **** I have ever seen. You jack ***** joked more about ****ing Steve Irwin's death than this, as Fatman mentioned.

I am ****ing disgusted, I don't care how ****ty his life was, if we can mock a man who actually lolololol DID SOMETHING THAT BENEFITED THE ****ING PLANET, I can **** well call MJ a little child lover and a fruit.

*goes back to playing Smooth Criminal

RIP MJ
A zombie thriller dance would be nice though, if you could, one last time.

Only because the truth hurts, apparently. >_>'
Actually I don't really get why people are upset and I don't really care about his passing, but the fact is there's no good reason for people to come in and be *******s. What good does it do besides piss people off?

[this is not directed at you, fatman]

So you don't like him?
Cool story bro

Nobody's forcing you to post, so shut up.

I'm really sorry. I wasn't trying to be a douchebag at all. I wasn't thinking.

I just read the last couple pages of that thread. I now understand why everyone calls Falcon their hero. FMOI's posts were great too.

RIP whoever died while I was typing this.

I should have been more clear with that post. What I'm refering to is how over-the-top emotional people are getting which, I personally believe, it somewhat is insulting to the people that actual knew the person in real life. That's another thing too, the people who talk as if they genuinely knew him but I might as well save my energy. In the end, I'm highlighting the fact that there was even such gross tension in the first place, not the fact that you closed the thread on the account of that.

The internet makes it a little harder to figure out which things are better left not said.

Like I said, I don't particularly understand being super upset unless you knew him or something, but people coming in to talk trash on him TO the people that are mourning him is....tacky.

I was mainly talking about those who were talking about MJ's death like he was a god or something. I wasn't ridiculing or attacking those who were mourning.

I'm still not speaking directly to you. If I was, I would mention your name :p

Well, the fact that he can't make more music and can't do his concerts in London is kinda lame.

It's not that I care that much, but is it really a big deal if you feel upset that one of your favourite artists kicked the bucket? I mean, he was pretty cool.

Man, MJ was the king. It doesn't matter what he did or didn't do, I will remember the entertainer, the moon walker, the thriller. It should be that way, just remembering the good.

I think mourning for people you don't directly know is kind of tacky too unless the person had a really, really big indirect impact on your life. For example, I'm not ashamed to say that about Shigeru Miyamoto for my life. My hobbies, my choice of friends, my personality, and even a lot of my philosophies (especially the one I have about hats) have been greatly inspired by the games he's created and some of the things he has said. That and Mario's my hero . :mario2: "That'sa so nice!"

Luther Vandross, DeShaun Dupree Holton (aka Proof), Bernie Mac, and now Mike Jackson. This decade sucks *** because I favor them all and they died at this decade. T_T

Like I said, I don't get being super upset either. However, being super upset is a little bit different than people coming in to basically troll the mourners.

I was watching Rock Your World or something by him on youtube, man those moves were freaking slick!

I can't imagine a world without Michael Jackson and THEN Michael Jordan gone:(.

Oh yeah, he was supposed to do that concert in London right?

I wonder what's gonna happen for the people that paid for it?
