^If that was a serious response then I think that's wrong. I've seen it done and done it. People escape it eventually, but then you just grab them again and continue.

They could do it on everybody except for Jigglypuff because Jigglypuff can use Rest so It won't count as a chaingrab even though DK can grab again. Go check the Falco Brawl chain grab the jiggliypuff description applies same to here.

It's escapable by weird DI. Ant-d has it in one of his videos, youtube.com/antdgar is his profile. There's also like, a coupleframe window where the person can recover I think. So yes, Sirhc is right.

There are a few frames where you can escape, but the best way to deal with it is to just not do anything. You don't take any damage if he doesn't have an opportunity to regrab. Then DK player will just give up and throw.

Indeed. Also, I believe there is time for DK's Giant Punch after he escapes. At least I've let out a fully charged one that I had stored when someone finally escaped after 100%+ damage. Needless to say, he was very upset that his efforts had gone to waste.

And if a character isn't going to get out, you can always KO-SD them by running off the edge.

Correct me if im wrong but, i think its only possibul to connect DK punch after a throw IF you throw from the air...maybe?...and then again even in the air you must actually time it!!
